First time trip for early 30s couple.

To preface my review, my wife and I have been to nude beaches a handful of times so we aren’t complete newbies to naturism/nudism. We decided to visit for day during our trip to Orlando. The gentleman at the front gate was very polite. We headed to the information office. The staff was also very polite. We were given a quick tour of the facility which was very well kept but looked like it hasn’t been updated in a few decades. My wife remarked this must be what “heaven” looks like, everyone just walking around in the nude with no shame, just enjoying the sun and the breeze. However, if you’re a younger couple looking for a younger crowd you will only find others your age if you’re lucky.

After the tour we headed to the pool area, showered and then went in. The pool temperature was perfect and very relaxing. However, this is were the heaven comparison doesn’t hold up. Everyone and I do mean everyone, basically ignored us the entire time we were there. All of the residents, vacationers or whoever was there, never ever spoke to us. Instead a handful of them continuously stared at us for most of the time we were in the pool. I get it, we are much younger and maybe the residents are suspicious of us. But the gazes of a more than handful were enough to make us feel like every step we took we were being watched the whole time.

After being at the pool for long while we decided to get food at bar/semi restaurant: Cheeks. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to eat a meal completely in the nude. The food and drinks were top quality and very delicious. Afterwards, we headed to pool again, with fewer gazes (at this point I suppose the residents were used to us being there). However one or two of the regulars still stared at us a bit too long. After a few more hours we decided to head out, however as we dried off, one particular couple kind of did the whole top to bottom full body eye stare like they were checking us out which felt a little bit creepy.

We walked the rest of length of the resort in the nude up until the front gate trying to soak up the last bit of sun and freedom that we could.

Overall it was a decent experience. The resort itself was good but the whole being watched wasn’t. Hence my 3 out of 5 rating.

We appreciate your feedback. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the resort, staff and food. Many of us share your wife's assessment, heaven. I am very sorry you were made to feel uncomfortable in the pool. It's honestly not unusual to have younger couples here, so I can't imagine why anyone would stare. We have many members and visitors who are younger, though there are probably fewer around during the winter season. Hopefully, if you give us another shot, you will find the experience a bit more comfortable. Either way, thanks for the visit!

This is my first-time visit to Cypress Cove. the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I stayed in one of the large units. This was very clean and contained everything you might need during the stay. The pool was nice. There was plenty of seating and a dj was playing. I recommend this establishment and will return.

My wife and I visited the cove yesterday. This was our very first visit to any type of nudist environment. Of course we had some nerves at first but Rowena gave us a very friendly tour of the grounds and we were ready to drop our costumes! Our massages from Tammy and Monica at Silver Lining were fantastic. It truly was one of the most comfortable experiences I’ve had at any pool. No worries in the back of my head that someone might be judging. Everyone was just minding their business, living their best nude life! The best part was we did not feel sexualized or judged (as a lesbian couple) at all! The whole experience was amazing. We will be back!

We were down in Early February and the air temp was 80F = Very comfortable.

The accommodations (condos) were in excellent shape (well maintained). The Grounds / pools / all facilities were in excellent shape.

Big place with an easy 1.5 mile walking road around the area where all the permeant homes are located. Lots more walking around were the trailers are parked. Paddle boats (free) available to take out onto the lake!

Down side is the Lakeside restaurant is now closed with no know reopening date.

Food and service at Cheeks was very good but you can only eat bar food for so long.

Easy walking out the front gate to other eatery's and stores nearby, so you do nogt need a car to pick up on snack foods for the room.

We have been here before. Improvements all over. Staff is so helpful. Weather was cool. But room (and extra blankets ) were warm. Many improvements made to grounds. Sorry main restaurant is not open yet. Many staff keep the entire park clean. Both environmentally aware (electric car plugins) , good signage , ADA sensitive.

Room tip: Traffic on main road can get surprisingly busy
