Can't play minecraft without gamepass now?
So I didn't realize i had to constantly have xbox game pass to play minecraft now that i migrated my account and it wont let me sign in the old way anymore. I didn't really sign up for that when i bought minecraft long ago.
I don't have game pass at the moment and it wont let me sign in any other way.
How do i play the game i bought and paid for without having to spend money every month to play it?
Any information besides "just pay for it" is greatly appreciated please and thank you in advance!

I migrated my account with no need to use the game pass. It was a headache (had to turn on "play online games" in my microsoft family settings, for some reason), but it worked just fine. You really shouldn't be paying for it.
Thank you very much. Do you happen to know where that is? Also found out i had to delete my account and re-sign back in. Weird but it appears to be working now. But i would like to check that settings thing if you know where it is? Thanks again!
If you previously bought the game, you don't need the Game Pass and you don't need to buy it again.
I'm on Bedrock tho... so no clue how to help with Java issues, but I did not have to get GP to keep playing.
I got it to work by deleting my account on the sign in thing and re signing back in. I think that that is kinda weird but thank you for verifying this. I guess the problem is new or just me because i couldn't find any info on this matter at the moment. Its probably just me.

I don't remember in specific detail. But try to completely sign out of everything xbox related. Then re-open it and sign back in. From what i remember i logged out of xbox and logged back in. I'm sorry i can't help in further detail because I have a horrible memory, but i hope some of that helps.

Same, i had java bougth, and then they sold it complitly to microsoft and now, it leads me to buy the gamepass, or i only can play demo. Thats so unfair becuase i payd 30 dollars for it
