This school is a wonderful place or education and learning, Overall there is a great student environment. There is a trying community for the arts and each teacher is very supportive. Every student will find their groups and new family. It would be nice to see more funding for the arts facilities as some of the classrooms need maintenance, but overall there's plenty of materials and teachers who are enthusiastic and care for their students.
My experience at T L Hanna was different than the majority of my piers. As a 504 plan student, I felt that my needs were not taken seriously by some of my teachers. I had teachers ignore my plan causing me to fall behind in those classes. I am a straight A student but there were times i struggled because my teachers did not follow the guidelines of my 504 plan. I feel that students with health disabilities are not taken seriously at T L Hanna High School. However, I did have teachers who were amazing and helped students in any way possible. I wouldn’t have succeeded in my classes like I did if it wasn’t for these few amazing teachers.
The teachers at TL Hanna want what is best for the students and ensure they are ready for college. I have enjoyed all of my teachers through the four years that I have been there. What I would like to see change is the social environment and safety around TL Hanna.
I love tl hanna high school. the teachers and administrators are amazing and care about all of their students.
My experience with T.L. Hanna has been fun, interesting, stressful, and sometimes sad. It's a roller coaster sometimes, but I love school honestly. Looking forward to school in the morning is my motivation to get up. A good thing that's happened in school is me taking tests that I know how to do, and when they have good food in the cafeteria. I don't know what I would like to see change, I think the school is good how it is.
I enjoyed TL Hanna ok and the athletic facilities are very nice. There are many weird rules and details that don’t make much sense. Also, the teachers are pretty inconsistent. I have absolutely loved some and hated others.
I loved my time at TLH and enjoyed most of the classes I took! I was an AP student, so I often found myself in classes with the better teachers where I was gaining a deeper knowledge of the topic. I think that TLH, but specifically my class choices prepared me well for college. The one thing I would like to see change is a greater investment in teachers. The teachers spend time and energy helping students understand the material they are learning, but are often faced with the challenge of limited resources. With the boom in new facilities, I would like to see increased funding within the classroom, whether it is in the form of materials, bonuses, and more, in order to motivate and encourage both teachers and students.
The worst part of my experience is when the school or rather teachers would not reach out to me when I needed help because I got stuck under quarantine because both of my parents were sick. The best part of my experience would be how involved the school is about their sports, after school activities, and the overall school events they create for students to participate and enjoy.
The best part about being at Hanna were the teachers. Every teacher I had pushed me to be the best person I could be. When the classes got tougher, so did the teachers, and I knew that I'd be able to be successful in each class I took because of the teachers. One of the worst parts of Hanna is the strictness of the rules. I get that it is all for safety, but I hated being denied to enter the school because I didn't have an ID. The person who denied me access knew exactly who I was as well. However, being safe rather than sorry is important, so I respect the caution.
I loved highscool. TLH was the best school that I could have gone to. I really believe in my junior and senior year the teachers were really trying to get my college and career ready. Teachers would make sure to test us and teach us like professors do in college and it did help me prepare for college. I feel if teachers in highschool did not teach me the way they did I would not have been as prepared and I am now.
The teachers that I have been blessed with truly care about me and my success, as well as, the success of my peers. The school is relatively clean and the students are pretty good as well. However, there are a few administrators and staff that I would say are rather unpleasant. A couple will be outwardly disrespectful to students and other staff members, many students see it but many of us do not have the knowledge or resources to do anything about it. The rules and policies in place are often outdated but relatively fair and there is not much to complain about.
I have loved my time at TLH! The teachers (with exceptions) really want to see students succeed. They care about the kids so much and form great relationships with them. I would love to see a better implementation of arts education in the school especially since the district 5 motto is "Arts, Academics, Athletics". All three portions should be equal if they are going to be apart of the motto.
My experience at TL Hanna High School has been great. I have went to TL Hanna High School since I was a freshman and now I am a senior. Every class is unique and each teacher is a little different, which is something I like to see as a student because one class might have different challenges and activities than the other. Instead of following a strict schedule where you do the same thing, they initiate fun into the activities. I also played soccer there which was really fun and the sports facilities and programs are greats. The lunch is great and the cafeteria is huge. I love it there.
I went to TL Hanna for high school, but am no longer going there since I graduated. My overall experience at TL Hanna was good. The teachers I had were all nice, I had fun at band and marching band. I sort of wish I got to go on more feild trips, the only feild trips I went to were with my band class. I went on much bigger feild trips in middle school. I ate school lunch, and it was pretty good for school lunch, it was also free during covid for all students.
My experience at TL Hanna High School was overall pretty good. Football games were always fun and I made some really good friends. Most of the teachers are good and do want to see you succeed. The worst part was honestly the other students that attended. I would like to see the atmosphere within peers change.
It was the most exciting and important period in my life because I got a lot of experiences of basic knowledge. During my high school years, I learned to participate in social life, clubs, sports, etc. As well becoming a young adult and making my own decisions.
The best parts was some of the people and a handful of teachers. Sometimes it felt like the teachers didn’t really want to teach properly and help when students need help sometimes but when the teachers that did care showed it it made me feel like school wasn’t as bad
