Albany, N.Y. – The Le Moyne baseball team will travel to the state capital on Tuesday to take on the University at Albany Great Danes in a non-conference matchup at 3 p.m. at Albany's Varsity Field.

Matchup History:
Le Moyne holds a 37-11 all-time record against UAlbany, dating back to 1969. The two teams most recently played four games against one another during the 2011 season, which was Le Moyne's first year with Scott Cassidy '98 as head coach. Albany won the first two meetings in 2011, then the Dolphins swept a doubleheader in Albany by scores of 10-5 and 6-3.

The Dolphins won eight of nine games against Albany between 2005 and 2010.

The Dolphins and the Great Danes will meet again later this season in Le Moyne's final regular season home game on May 14.

Last Time Out:
The Dolphins were swept in a series for the first this season with three loses to Wagner over the weekend at the Trenton Thunder Ballpark.

Prior to that, they bested Niagara University, which sits in first place in the MAAC Standings, on April 16 at Dick Rockwell Field by a score of 9-4.

Graduate right-hander Dewey Roden (Sherrill, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill), who has started all four of Le Moyne's midweek non-conference games so far this season, earned his second victory of 2024 against the Purple Eagles after tallying a season-high seven strikeouts with two runs allowed in five innings pitched. Sophomore infielder Lukas Egenhauser (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern) recorded a season-high two RBIs during the win over Niagara.

Boule vs. Boule:
Brothers Jason Boule and Luke Boule will compete against one another at the collegiate level for the first time during Tuesday's contest in Albany. Luke, a freshman right-handed pitcher for the Great Danes, has made eight appearances on the mound with one start so far in his rookie campaign, totaling 18 strikeouts and a save in 14.1 innings pitched. He made his collegiate debut in game three of Albany's season-opening series at #9 Tennessee. Jason has made 25 starts so far in his fourth season with the Dolphins.
