Wonderful and interesting food not usually found in L.A. Accommodated my elderly father’s wheelchair fantastically and we had 2 visits from the chef/owner.

Food- fabulous! Service- very good,but slow…. Longest dinner we ever had, we didn’t really mind too much, because we were catching up, having a great time, but it was noticeably slow. One thing to gripe about (apart from the 4% health surcharge), is getting your side dish “jager style” meaning having 3 spoonfuls of mushroom sauce on the side- $15!? Really? Overall, great dinner , I’d def go back!

This was our 3rd or 4th time and, as always, a great casual but refined dining experience. Genuine food with thoughtful wine list that matches the cuisine (which cannot be said for many higher end restaurants these days). We look forward to coming back.

Nice new place! As an Austrian native I was looking forward to trying the restaurant especially after they got the Michelin nod. The wine list seemed impressive. The menu was more Austrian-inspired let’s say rather than true traditional Austrian specialties but in LA especially that’s probably a good thing. The butternut squash soup was great, so were the bread rolls though I wish they had a true rye “Schwarzbrot” option as well. I had the Käsespätzle which is a specialty but it was probably a bit too bland to stand as its own course… The truffle shavings add some pizazz and elevate the dish but don’t do enough to elevate the flavor. The standout dish for us was the simple Vanilla gelato affogato dessert with pumpkin seed oil. Simply delicious. Service was attentive and friendly, a little rough around the edges maybe on occasion but would classify that at teething problems for any new restaurant. Some room for improvement but overall very good and exciting new spot!

Food was really outstanding on first time visit. Staff overall excellent though our server was a bit inexperienced or new. Food quality was great. And presentation. Maybe not an everyday dining place due to cost but for sure special occasions etc.
