Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School is currently in currently in lockdown due to a reported threat.1:12pm UPDATE: K9 officers are clearing the school at this time.
12:02pm UPDATE: MCPD is still on scene at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. Officers have secured the area and are verifying the validity of the reported threat.
Montgomery County Police tweeted the following at 11:44am on Thursday, May 16: “Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School is currently in lockdown following a reported threat.
MCPD is confirming the validity of this report. More information will be released as it becomes available.”

Fathers and father figures, create unforgettable memories with your daughter at our free community father-daughter dance on June 1st, from 6-8 pm. Hosted outdoors at Olney Baptist Church. This event offers a delightful outdoor experience complete with a DJ spinning tunes, interactive games, a charming photo booth, delicious treats, and exciting raffle prizes.
