I was a little concerned having read reviews but was pleasantly surprised once I had flown. Like most places in China the check in was a little slow, lots of a red tape and checks, but after this the flight was just fine. Friendly crew who spoke a little (Sufficient) English, pleasantly dressed and polite, complimentary water / Jasmine tea. The aircraft was a little tired but there was good leg room (F604 in height), a little more than European carriers like Ryanair. The two hour flight was fine and passed without issue, I would fly again at the right price.…

Worst airline experience I've ever had, extremely slow and unnecessarily convoluted checkin process that required going to 4 separate desks, but that actually wasn't necessary because they lied that the carry on baggage was too large in dimensions despite multiple other passengers bringing in the exact same standard sized carry on bag. They actually just wanted to extract more money. Awful, first and last time flying with them, would rather take a 7 hour rail journey instead of a 2 hour flight with this terrible company.…

Pros: Beijing Capital Airlines will get you from A to B at a very cheap price. The staff were friendly and apologetic. Cons: The plane is old. Some issues I experienced include broken food tray. My seat had issues reclining. My inflight entertainment system crashed both times to and from Qingdao. What are the chances? Quite high if you fly with this airline I suspect as I wasn’t the only one experiencing this problem. Limited inflight entertainment. There were 4 foreign movies, none from Hollywood. Rest of the 10 movies available were Chinese which is fine but very limited in choice. If you’re not into Chinese movies, bring your own entertainment, especially for long haul flights. Food portion was small and below average.…

I went on this airline again. The advantages was that there was curtains, so you get more privacy. The bad things where that the in flight entertainment was not good. Also the food as well. Another good thing was that the flight attendants where kind and helpful.

THE FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED BECAUSE OF A BROKEN ENGINE! THEY DIDN'T EVEN TELL US AND WE HAD TO WAIT FOR SIX HOURS! WE WENT WITH AIR CHINA INSTEAD. at least they gave us refunds
