Scaramouche always dazzles! Venison special entree was superb. Meat perfectly cooked! Vegetable accompaniment masterfully chosen.

The waiter made us feel welcome and relaxed with us in a very positive manner. It's been a few years since we've last been, and having the dessert plates with an inscription in chocolate saying Happy Anniversary was a very nice touch. Both Naomi and I enjoyed our meal immensley. Scaramouche has done the thing we value, keeping a consistent high standard.

Our server, Andrew brings service to an art form while maintaining warmth and friendliness! Food was elegant, thoughtful and delicious. Generous portions presented like a plated fable. Scaramouche is the essence of true fine dining- no cramped tables, lots of knowledgeable staff, no loud music or 90 minute table limits. Diners were enjoying their food and talking to each other— not busy on media or texting people. At Scaramouche, you are in the present moment, which, in a world seemingly gone mad, is the most wonderful place to be. It will take you out of yourself; remind you to use all your senses and reconnect with life. The only downside was that we asked for a window table to celebrate my birthday. It felt like we were bumped in favour of another couple. We still enjoyed our dinner, this was just a little bit snobby but absolutely my only criticism. Maybe next time. Scaramouche is what dining should be!

We had a wonderful dinner at Scaramouche as usual. We feel the decor is a bit outdated , but that’s not as important as the quality of the food. I’d like to point out that there are several stairs to get down to the restaurant and then again a few to get down to the tables by the window. We hadn’t been there for a while, and I was not having difficulty walking before, but it was quite hard navigating the stairs.

It is a nice, more traditional restaurant where the food is a delight to eat. Overall, the atmosphere is nice and somewhat business friendly. The staff are friendly.

My elementary school friend and I were celebrating both our birthdays. We had the burrata appetizer which was actually a buffala mozzarella (we were advised before ordering) but was still very good as was the bread we had. We ordered the pasta special with lamb ragu and the halibut and they both amazing dishes. And of course we ended the night with the coconut cream pie (to die for) and a candle and birthday wishes. Service was great, not rushed but attentive. There was a rowdy birthday party which I had wished were in a separate room rather than being in the middle of the dining room but other than that, we enjoyed our evening.
