We have been going to the Orange several times over the last couple of years as it has gone through a few “transformations”. This was our worst experience. Never going back as this was second time we had a very disappointing experience.Service was poor. Suspect they were short staffed and a big party downstairs. Waiter had no idea of drinks/ food being offered. Never came by our table except when we could catch his attention. Pasta dish was almost inedible. Side dishes appeared long after main course had been served. Neighbouring table we chatted with had similar experience. We fled this place and went around the corner to Wild by Tart which was brilliant.

Really enjoyed the evening at the Orange until the bill came. 15% service charge - why? What makes you different/special from every other restaurant in London? Are you not paying your staff enough? Have you been taken over by the Americans? Don’t rip off your customers!

It’s just too expensive for what it is. The food is ok. The location fab. The ambience ok. But the prices are way too much. Pizza prices and quality are ok. But the rest!

Service was very disjointed. Waiter seemed to be overwhelmed. Food was overpriced for what one received.

Great venue, okay service mediocre food that looks completely different to Instagram. I came here because I saw the chef advertising the dishes on Instagram and they looked phenomenal but the reality was completely different. Everything felt rushed and without care. I won’t be recommending the orange pub to anyone.
