Midwood High School at Brooklyn College Reviews
Rating 3.91 out of 5 1,491 reviews
Overall, I'm proud to be a student at Midwood. While it had a rough start, because I had my freshman year online (due to Covid), I had so much fun exploring the school and building relationships with my peers and teachers during my sophomore year to my senior year. I was able to make some of my close friends at Midwood. My school is very diverse, so most of my friends have different backgrounds and cultures, which I was able to learn about through our friendship. Because most of the students at my school are competitive and passionate about their grades and learning, I was also able to learn from my peers when I needed help understanding certain aspects of a topic after school, since the classes are very challenging at times. The best parts of my time at Midwood would be my experience with the extracurricular activities after-school because they allowed me to explore many of my interests and connect with peers that shared my interests. In the end, I truly enjoyed my time at Midwood.
Midwood High School was always the dream high school scenario for me and many others. Midwood High School's strength lies in its dedication to high achievement in learning. Known for challenging classes and expert teachers, Midwood often ranks among the most satisfactory schools in New York. What makes Midwood thrive is ensuring kids get a balanced education beyond books. The amount of activities you can take part in is endless. Sports like volleyball, basketball, swimming, tennis, soccer, baseball, flag football, wrestling, bowling and more students can join throughout there four years here.
Midwood High School is very good in their school spirit and activities. There is so many things to get involved in including clubs, academic teams, competitions, musicals, art galleries, and so much more. They also host so many fun activities such as movie nights and the dozens of spirit days. There’s so much to do and so much to get involved in, I love it! As for the academic part, there are so many opportunities to choose from. We have a wide selections of AP classes, dozens of elective courses, and well as a great robotics track and science research track. Midwood High School is great when it comes to shaping what you want to do in the future and the teachers are so nice and supportive.
