It is with hearts full of love that we share the news of our mother's peaceful passing.

Betty was a devoted mother who was constant in her caring and concern for her family. Along with her husband Barrie she made her home a place where her family and friends knew they would be welcome with open arms for stays both short and long. Nothing pleased Betty and Barrie more than having their family come for holidays and celebrations.

Betty was fortunate to share her entire life with her supportive and loving twin sister Diane Foley and subsequently with Mike and their children.

Betty leaves many wonderful memories in the hearts of her children Kathy Burt (Doug), Jenny Robson (Ian), Angie McKay (Ranald), David Gunhouse (Susan) and Roxanne Wright. Her 9 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren filled her with pride.

Betty was an active volunteer and member for many years with the Girl Guides and the CWL.

Betty and Barrie supported the work done by the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Partners in Mission Foodbank. In lieu of flowers, if you wish to make a donation to either of these charities it would be gratefully received.

Betty's family would like to thank all of the supportive, kind and helpful staff at Conservatory Pond who ensured that Betty could remain independent and play bridge till the end.

We would also like to thank everyone who was involved in making mom's end of life transition peaceful.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 392 Palace Road. The family will receive friends during a reception following the service in the church hall.
