It is not going to win any awards for acting or writing, but it is a fun movie set in an alternate universe where "the Order of the Black Habit" battles evil.
The Heavenly disco number is worth the price of admission alone.
Some folks might be offended by the lack of strict orthodoxy in the film.
My take is that the film has enough religion in it that it's a loving poke by a staff that lived faith from the inside.
Musical number with Jesus? check!
Hilarious campy dialogue? check!
The first 10 minutes are little rough, but the story really finds a good path after that and wins you over. If you like low-budget / b-movies you'll absolutely love this film.

The acting is pretty much what you'd expect. Some is very good, but some is very bad. It's all shot well and the sound is good. Plot wise, it's gloriously daft, but that's all the fun really (who wouldn't want to see a dead Nun being trained in unarmed combat against a group of ninjas by Gandhi?)
Honestly, check this thing out. I'm very pleased I did and unlike alot of these low budget things, I can see me watching this several more times!
