The chop top performance makes me think he could def do it. I can definitely see him doing the act where the joker is super calm then just bursts into violence. Different kind of creepy but a good kind of

Dog will hunt!

Leatherface noises

primus noises

Exactly

More replies

Underrated actor, wish we’d have gotten the scrapped chop top movie

u/Chrome-Head avatar

Didn’t know they were planning that, any other details on it? Was Hooper involved?

More replies

He's 72, so definitely to old to do it now, but he would have been great back in the day.

u/Sensitive_Coyote2581 avatar

What if they do a live action dark knight returns he can play a veteran joker

That would work

u/Darwin_Finch avatar

Bill Mosley will never get a part that big

u/Sensitive_Coyote2581 avatar

You never know yea hes not in anything big anymore but who knows what the universe has planned

I think you misspelled Warner Brothers

The new Superman actor wasn’t that famous but he’s Superman now

That would work. Many want Defoe

That's always been a shocking thing about him. Way older than he looks. He was 52 when he did House of 1000 corpses.

I'm in favor of one off comic book movies instead of constant trilogies and shared universes. I wish WB would do this. That would contrast them with Marvel.

Yeah, I've never understood the obsession with shared universes. WB is doing it a little with letting the Matt Reeves Batman movies and the Joker movies be their own thing, and Gunn has said they are open to other stand alone stuff. At the end of the day WB only has so much money to throw at projects though, and the DCU is obviously their priority. I just hope with Gunn co-leading it we get to see some of the weirder and more off-beat characters have their time to shine.

Shared universes are just so much more fun and they recreate the comic book experience better imo. I mean a huge part if the fun of comics is reading one title, and then jumping over to the next one and seeing a character from the previous title walk in for a few scenes of the action. All those fun character crossovers and interactions that you’d never get if every hero just had solo movies with no connection to each other. We had those for a few decades, now let’s have a few decades of interconnected universes.

Same for Brad Douriff and Richard Brake playing Joker.

All 3 would no doubt have been amazing in different ways, all three not big enough splashy names in Hollywood or are ensemble players.

To be fair, with how much older the Arkham Joker looked, I could easily see Bill Moseley pull that specific look off.

Also, dude looks great for his age.

More replies

He could pull it off most definitely

I've seen at least half of these films and never realised they were the same guy.

Bill Moseley was in Night of the Living Dead?

"They're coming to get you, Barbara."

u/Character_Coyote8132 avatar

Maybe

Edited

You can cast Bill Moseley as pretty much anything and I'll happily watch it. He's a tremendous and extremely underrated talent.

u/MrTyrantLizard avatar

Nah, not Joker. Scarecrow :)

u/Dolorosakil avatar

He'd sure as hell be better than Phoenix!

I approve. I'm pretty sure he'd do a good job and not try to smear "my own unique interpretation of the character" everywhere like the last three jackasses.

u/LauranaSilvermoon avatar

What is the 2nd row far left from? And middle bottom?

u/Sensitive_Coyote2581 avatar

Idk

u/LolTacoBell avatar

"Crepitus"

"Silent Night, Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out! (1989)"

More replies

He gives me Dan Steven’s vibes and idk why. Now I want to see Dan give it a try

he’d definitely be able to bring a new unique dimension to the Joker

Yeah I could maybe see it he played both a psychotic in the firefly trilogy and a insane jokester in Texas chainsaw 2

u/leatherface0984 avatar

I’d watch that!

I’m more a Richard Brake as Joker guy.

u/Chrome-Head avatar

Also would be amazing, also sadly too old. Doomhead in 31 was very Joker-esque. Shit, that opening scene alone.

I’ve always wanted Willam Dafoe to play the joker I think he’d kill that part.

u/save00us avatar

The psychopath role and his face fits the joker

u/LuRouge avatar

Better idea. Make him The Batman Who Laughs

Chop Top is pretty much just the joker.

I could definitely see him beating robin to death

u/triple_seis avatar

Back in the day, sure.

ERRRGGHMM LICK MAH PLATE YA DOG DIICK! 🤬

u/Sensitive_Coyote2581 avatar

Did her Bubba did you get dat bitch

Soooo hottt 🔥🔥🔥

I love the idea!

Bill Moseley would be a great old Joker in a TDKR live action adaptation.

u/Sensitive_Coyote2581 avatar

Agreed

He lived in the town over from me and I would sometimes see him at the grocery store.

He would be a great Joker, but I believe he would be better Zsasz. He can make a great psychopathic character, but Zsasz would bring him more into unnerving, sadist territory, which would be complemented wonderfully with Moseley’s unpredictable zaniness.

Maybe they could take a break from Joker for a minute. They could focus on some other villain instead like Snowflame.

that’d be a cool vibe

Bottom Middle was that God awful Silent Night Deadly Night 3 right?

u/some_Britishguy avatar
