Ahsoka is a live-action television series that ran from August 22, 2023 to October 3 on Disney+. The series will culminate in a crossover event with The Mandalorian.
Official Description[]
After making her long awaited live-action debut in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka Tano's story, written by Dave Filoni, will continue in a limited series starring Rosario Dawson and produced by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau.
Set after the fall of the Empire, "Ahsoka" follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

Production[]
On February 10, 2022, it was reported that the series is scheduled to start production in April under the working title "Stormcrow".[1]
On April 8, 2022, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Peter Ramsey had been hired to direct at least one episode of the series.[2]
On May 9, 2022, it was announced that the series had officially started production.[3]
On December 22, 2022, it was reported that Mary Elizabeth Winstead would portray Hera Syndulla in the series.[4]
On December 25, 2022, it was reported that Lars Mikkelsen would portray Grand Admiral Thrawn after voicing the character in Star Wars Rebels.[5]
On April 8, 2023, it was reported that Kevin Kiner would compose the score for the series, after previously working on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and Tales of the Jedi.[6]
On January 9, 2024, a second season was announced to be in development by Dave Filoni.[7]

- This is Ray Stevenson's final television role after his death in 2023 with the first episode being dedicated to his memory.
- This show was marketed as a sequel to Star Wars Rebels.
- Zeb is the only surviving member of the Ghost crew to not appear, though he is mentioned. He previously appeared in live action in The Mandalorian.
- This is the first Star Wars work to have the opening crawl since Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. However, it is formatted differently than those in the films.
