Going into this film I was extremely skeptical because number one it is only streaming on a platform that has 0 well known titles. Number two it had no notable actors. Number three it looked like a low budget thriller, but the trailer actually got me hooked, I saw it as an ad at the end of a YouTube video and I immediately searched and researched if there was a way to stream it without subscribing to the “Hooked” app but there was no other way that I could find so I signed up for the free trial.
But getting into the actual film the thing that stood out to me was the cinematography it was so on par with…
I have several huge lists on letterboxd of things classified as horror that I wanted to watch. Last night I narrowed it down to like 150 movies and I've been using a random number generator to pick the ones I watch.
This was the first one. I was a little skeptical but the reviews seemed to be promising so I decided to give it a shot.
This isn't horror, it's basically a better shot lifetime movie.
I mean to be honest I was pretty interested in it probably up until like 50 minutes in and then when I realized it was basically just a lifetime movie with better cinematography i felt kind of meh on it.
It is very well…
This was a good movie. Beautiful cinematography, very well written script, well acted, great screenplay, beautiful location. Another thing is it was not over the top and the characters acted like real people.
I was surprised but I shouldn't have been because it has a 6.7 rating on imdb, and that's usually, not always, but usually a pretty good indicator of how a movie is.
Check it out.
