Before attending Wayne, I attended Concordia Lutheran High School and Carroll High School. My transition from Wayne to Carroll wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Although it was a different environment than what I was used to I was able to fit in within days due to the culture and diversity at Wayne. I am glad I attended Wayne and was able to experience my last year of school there. I will honestly say that I wish I did attend Wayne all four years of High School.
Overall, I have enjoyed my tenure at Wayne High School. The staff are all extremely friendly and are good mentors to have. A few of them are very strict and it tends to be annoying. However, the rest make up for it.
I attended a magnet school called New Tech Academy @ Wayne High School to get a head start on Computer science and Business classes and exposer with opportunities for college credit. Overall good school did have some bumpy roads with the old guidance counselor but a new one has since been placed that seems to be connecting with students better!
