Best parts: I made such great lifelong connections, deep connections, this school is small in student size but that means you can connect and there will be more focus on the students (deepness over broadness I would add) students can feel heard, and have connections with their teachers, meaning the students will take be able to focus on students and their grades more often and with consistency.
Other parts: the school doesn’t really have many sports, I wanted to get into field and track along with football but i would have to have gone to another school to play, particularly poly and although I would have done that, it would’ve been inconvenient due to my class schedule and me having to be there at practice during 2, when my classes in the past werent working out to be as flexible.

Best parts about browning: if your child is shy, this school is perfect for them to work on opening themself to the world due to the campus small population.
This school has opened many leadership opportunities for me, I have experience of all kind due to their support, their resources...
The college program at this school really is a game changer, I feel without it I would've turned out differently. Maybe with a different mindset, because being a high school student in college level environments really pushes you to become your best academically and responisbily.
This school is really small so you can make really deep connections with your peers.
Worst Parts: This school is fairly new, meaning we as a community are building up everything, the bright side is you get experience and step into the life of creating for the future.

I've been given so many opportunities because of this school. Some examples would be obtaining a paid internship, joining RSVP (a program that works with the superintendent of our district), going to camp RYLA (a leadership camp), and much more. As great as that's been there are a few issues that need to be addressed. To start off, the communication at my school needs significant improvement, there is a huge disconnect between the adults and the students. We also need to work on educating teachers when it comes to being aware of internal stereotyping, the adults playing off as victims in situations when they are confronted with school issues and rewarding students who have been working hard instead of punishing them along with the students who have not taken their education as seriously.
