For our savory menu, we offer a lunch and dinner featuring some traditional dishes as well as our signature quiche and chicken salade. Our menu changes seasonally and everything on our menu is house made from scratch daily with our commitment to the highest quality and ingredients. Our full bar offers signature cocktails, Champagne and beer. Delicious three-layer cakes, as well as cheesecakes, pies, cookies, and other desserts fill our elegantly designed display case and are served daily.     Each time I've recently come with a reservation we are left to wait. An 8:45pm reservation on a fairly empty night - and staff seemed to be plentiful to hang around. The front staff was diddling around and had us standing there waiting to be greeted and then told to wait. Servers were also overheard complaining about their tables, congregating in the women's RR & hanging around. Cake Bake is an experience, a treat, and the last few times it has felt like an overpriced meal and not being welcomed - a less than inviting entrance. Our server was nice, but could clear the table, we sat there with 5 menus and empty glasses cluttering the table.

    Loved the staff, the atmosphere, food and drink was good…only reason for less than 5 stars is the price! Still a great decision for special occasions and will return!

    We had such a great time. Love the special way you celebrate birthdays (fairy dust). Our waitress was very attentive and kind. Beautiful place to celebrate.

    Our server Sara made our experience so very nice. She took an interest in us and made recommendations and was super attentive. Food quality was awesome as always.

    This was sadly disappointing to the level of quality and experience we’ve grown to appreciate over the years of cake bake. For the price if this was our first time I wouldn’t come back.

    I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how great our experience was. All of our meals were tasty (chicken piccata, angel hair pasta with tomatoes and 1/2 turkey & gruyere sandwich with a cup of French onion soup). Then we ended the meal with a slice of French silk pie and a slice of the all chocolate cake (which comes with edible glitter sprinkled on it)! Our server was fantastic (I feel terrible that I can’t remember her name) and the restaurant was beautiful inside as well as outside. We don’t live near The Cake Bake Shop or even in the same state, but if I get the opportunity again I will definitely be back. If you’re going on a weekend you absolutely need to make a reservation or you’re likely not going to get in.

    The atmosphere at Cake Bake is always great. Our service was okay. Our server was very soft spoken so hard to hear her. Our food was expensive for the quality. My cousin quiche was burned and when she asked about it they told her that’s how it should be. It was so bad she couldn’t eat it and nothing was done to replace it. I had a turkey sandwich and salad that was like $25. The salad was so salty I couldn’t eat it. I explained this and not even an apology. When I spend $25 on a cold meat sandwich and salad I expect to eat both. The manager did talk to us but was only concerned with if we picked out dessert. I’ve gone to Cake Bake many times but each time I go it’s more and more expensive and the quality of the food is less. Not sure if I’ll go back any time soon.

To alleviate concerns about the frosting, we use a Swiss meringue buttercream, which has a 6% higher butterfat content than standard American buttercream.     Sarah was lovely and kept us well informed and entertained. She made my MILs birthday special and was kind enough to involve my toddler in the ‘magic’ where she could! We throughly enjoyed our dining experience
