RIP Cathleen Williams (DCC MTTT Season 4) death

I was wondering if anyone had mentioned or noticed that Cathleen recently passed away. I really liked her despite her struggles to get on the team & felt bad that she was forced to be "louder" by Kitty.

I hate to hear this. But, I also love that we can get and share information here about the girls who have found their way into our hearts. If not for being here, I wouldn't know this. It's just neat how SO many of us just love the girls and love the show. I am praying the show will come back.

Absolutely heartbreaking, may her family be at peace now. It said she passed Feb 2020 after a “brief” illness. That’s the month all hell broke loose about staying put from a virus not named “Covid” yet.

Oh wow over two years ago I had no idea. That’s so sad. Years ago when she was on the show I had messaged her on Facebook about trying out and she told me do it or you’ll regret it. She was right 😞 I can’t believe she passed away. She was so sweet. RIP.

Did you audition?

u/missrosieqt avatar

No I didn’t 🥺

If you still dance you should. I'm glad that she encouraged people to follow their dreams

I’m in my 30’s so too old and I don’t really dance anymore. I’m a great dcc in my head though lol

I watched that episode with her and Kitty Carter earlier today, too. I’m sorry to hear this.

I wonder if it was Covid related or if she had cancer

She was very young, but judging by her obituary, she led a truly beautiful and amazing life.

Right?? Her leaving her pup behind made me lose it.

The pup must have meant a lot to her to even be mentioned, that pup was very loved. I'm sure her family is showing her a lot of love and care.

Thank you, that makes me feel a little better. These things are so sad but often bring out the beauty and just higher selves in us.

I absolutely agree. It's sad that it sometimes takes a tragedy to see the beauty that was there the whole time, but light shines brightest in the darkness.(I know that's incredibly cheesey, but it's my personal outlook. I'd never say that to someone who is grieving.)

Oh my GOSH, I am watching her RIGHT NOW "scream"!

That's heartbreaking, she was so young. Love and healing to her loved ones and family.

ETA: OK I'm sitting here crying. She just seemed so sweet and just a gentle person. And she was so young and beautiful. Enjoy it while it lasts, folks. We don't get a do-over and we aren't promised tomorrow.

U said it! May God rest her soul. I really liked her too. So sad 😞.

This is incredibly sad. She was so young. My 47 year old cousin just passed of a heart attack 2 weeks ago. You are so right, Extension-You9680. We are not always promised tomorrow.

Thank you so much. It's just so mind-boggling. Dom had gone through a bad divorce but met someone, started a new career. He had finally hit his stride again. This also happened on my Mom's side of the family 2 years ago. My cousin Jeff passed of a heart attack, also age 47. Left behind his wife and 15 year old son. I still can't process it sometimes. Life can really blindside you.

I had a heart attack at 47 as well…I consider myself so lucky.

Sorry for your loss.

The obituary is from 2020, which I realize doesn’t make the news any less shocking.

I didn't even see that, thanks. I wonder if she died of covid? I found out my very best friend from my teenage years died of covid. She was only 47. Craziness.

Sry to hear that. Life is so short. And sometimes we don’t realize just short it is until it affects us personally.
