Behind The Lens

[T]here are a few moments of freshness in the film (and I do mean few) and thanks solely to the talents of Zellweger do we see even a glimmer of any of the offbeat charms that endeared us to Bridget in the first place.

It's really disapponting. Ridículamente mal escrita desde el principio hasta el final, trataron de imitar las partes cómicas de la primera entrega y no resultó, pensaron que al colocar canciones popular llenaría los huecos argumentales, y humor desinflado, algo que he notado es que siempre en las secuelas recurren a licaciones exoticas para tratar de compensar la falta de creatividad y crean situaciones over the top para nada realistas. ( S x and the city 2) esto va para ti también, pésima secuela.

I know everyone always wants to know what happens to the couple once they get together, but here it really wasn't necessary. This is not cosy and heartwarming like the first instalment, it is clunky and embarrassing. As far as I am concerned, there is only 1 Bridget Jones film.
