Problem opening XML file

Hi,
I got a project from my coworker that I have tried to open, but when I do I get the message "Invalid Final Cut Pro XML file."
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Assuming you are using v18 of Resolve, is this v1.9 FCPX XML?
If not, ask for that version.
