Alford is a historic market town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds and just 7 miles to the East Coast. Quiet and picturesque with good road links in all directions, Alford is a great base for exploring rural Lincolnshire.

If you visit Alford you will find it is full of historic interest with a working 5 sailed windmill (currently awaiting repairs), 17th century manor house and a 14th century church. The town hosts several craft markets each year, as well as a popular 1940’s weekend and Christmas event.

Alford is in the East Lindsey district of the county of Lincolnshire in Great Britain. It’s just a few miles from the East Coast and the popular seaside resort of Mablethorpe. Surrounded by farmland at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Alford has good access to Boston, Lincoln and Grimsby.
