Yes wasn’t she with Cara for a long time before Cara got clean? And her new husband Brandon Davis was also known as champion skier back in the early 00’s, and who knows if that stopped. I’m guessing drugs.

Lifestyle really does have a huge impact. My mother has aged absolutely beautifully; I'm forever getting comments from friends about how young she looks, and she truly looks 10-15 years younger than she is (she's in her early 60s). She has really lovely skin and just glows with wholesomeness and good health. She tried drinking a precious handful of times in her twenties, never liked it/believed in it, and has stayed completely sober basically her whole life. No smoking, no drugs, no daily caffeine (she will treat herself to a cup of coffee about once a week). She will barely even take OTC medication for headaches. She exercises every single day (mostly long walks but also a light gym routine). She has always taken amazing care of her skin, too, with a solid routine and quality products. She also never, ever intentionally tanned. And she eats very healthily very consistently as well. Her weight consequently never fluctuated (which can affect skin elasticity). She also was oddly skilled at keeping life stressors to a minimum, from selecting jobs that didn't exploit her to not being especially fazed by the constant drama in our family.
Her younger sister, on the other hand, had a very different lifestyle. She historically smoked, drank, tanned, had a penchant for super processed foods/sodas, frequently yo-yo dieted/crash dieted, and often took on high-profile, high-stress jobs that demanded a lot from her. She's very easily stressed, does not handle stress well, and is regularly feuding with our various family members. To be clear, my aunt looks good overall, but she very much looks her age and doesn't have that healthy glow my mother does. They're a pretty good case study in that genetics aren't the end-all, be-all when it comes to aging. Ashley Benson definitely doesn't look like she's taking good care of herself. I hope she starts to.

She's definitely a smoker. I think her styling has also been pretty bad lately, like her hair colors in #2 and #3. I think she still looks pretty in #1.

Yes absolutely! I know of some girls who have seen her IRL that have said she also is a heavy drug user, but I'll take that with a grain of salt.

I'm pretty sure he's the one who started calling Lindsay Lohan by that awful nickname. Cannot believe anyone would willingly sleep with that man, let alone marry him.

He and Mischa might've never been married or had children together, but if any dude ever wants to become a father, he should accept that women's bodies can change permanently after pregnancy. I can't stand his face either. And I know I would feel the same way even if I knew nothing about his personality. He always looks greasy/shiny and it matches who he is.

All of her recent hair colours seem to wash her out... I know that warm-tones for hair aren't very popular now, but a nice warm honey blonde closer to her PLL look might brighten her up

OP is right. I’ve noticed this as well over the years. She looks bloated, crepey, and unkempt. Her facial definition is hardly visible. I’d say it’s due to smoking, alcohol, (drugs aren’t beyond the realm of possibility), dehydration, and just not taking care of herself. There’s nothing wrong with or rude about acknowledging this. It’s simply an observation and OP is just wanting advice.
She's getting older... That's probably all it is. Plus, being a celeb can be stressful. I won't give any names, but I work for a micro-celeb who's a NYC comic and even he gets bombarded with emails and people who are always trying to talk to him, so much so that I receive some of the overflow. I know it wears him out, so I can just imagine what bigger celebs go through.

I always found Shay and Sasha prettiest. They’re both aging well (though Sasha is younger than the others and they’re all still pretty young). Troian though was very striking to me and my favorite actress of the girls.

Lucy is aging very well too. She doesn’t look all that different since the show ended

Just the second pic though? That one is unflattering, but can be for different reasons, she may have been tired or sick, may drank the night before...whatever.
She is looking completely fine in the other 2 photos. Just not younger than she actually is. But many female stars don't when not filtered into oblivion. Margot Robbie for example doesn't either, so I really don't see the issue here.

Genetics are a factor. Not everyone will age like your aunt so idk if that discounts anything. Like good for your aunt and Lucy Hale but we're talking about Ashley Benson rn and people age differently.
Sure, but it’s clear Lucy has had quite a bit of surgery.
I think she just lost her natural plumpness in her cheeks which made her skin a bit saggy, I think this could all be avoidable (almost) with a good skincare routine that includes sun protection. I think she’s still beautiful though!!
Last picture is a young photo for comparison, so I was wondering what she has in the 4th picture that the other 3 don't have.
She had youth, duh. Ageing makes you lose fat and even a little muscle in your face, makes your skin less elastic, our hairlines retreat which changes the face composition/geometries, etc etc. I think aside from basic line prevention of sun protection, collagen, facials, a good diet(!) and healthy lifestyle(!!), the "cure" for aging at the endline is just facelifts and/or fillers to mitigate those changes.

Collagen supplements don't work like this. Your body produces all the collagen on its own given your eat a healthy diet and don't sunbake/smoke/drink and sleep well.
Sunscreen/Retinol is gonna be much more helpful for your skin

I think it's also partly because she is very soft on a small frame. Her bones are very delicate and doesn't carry weight well. I don't know her lifestyle but that can play into sagging as well.
Additionally she likely had the same eyelid surgery as Nina Dobrev and Mila Kunis amongst others.
She doesn't look too bad in my opinion for being 33. The make-up plus her hair color is less flattering and like the comment below me mentioned, she looks older than when she was in her twenties... because well she is.

You said she may not get cosmetic procedures. OP pointed out she gets her lips done - which proves she does get procedures. This shows she's not opposed to getting work done which means she's probably gotten others but still looks rough. Critical thinking/reading skills are important.

I’ve been getting lip filler for 12 years. People are always shocked when I tell them, once I get to know them a little more. Not everyone goes overboard with filler and looks obvious.

I'm 30 with lots of friends in that age range. Regular people don't look perpetually 20. She DEFINITELY does not look like she's in her 40s.

She's always looked old for her age starting around age 20. When she was that age, she looks at least 23. When she was 23, she looked 26-28. It's probably a combo of lifestyle choices like drinking, lack of sleep and stress. Also that she white and white skin is thinner meaning less collagen and ages faster. Also possible she didn't wear sunscreen her whole life every day all day like she should've. She also looks overfilled like kylie jenner. Makes people look older

Omg she was pregnant. Alot of women don't dye their hair while pregnant and pregnancy can make you super tired.
Unfortunately Caucasian people have less Collagen than other minority groups so age catches up with them faster than others + add heavy partying and drinking and well you get these physical results..
Helen Mirren is caucasian and she looks beautiful for a grandma!
That said, I'm scared. I feel like I could learn a lot from Ashley since I look exactly like a green-eyed version of Hanna Marin from season 1, better stay out of the sun if I want to stay like that.

Don't be scared, age will eventually come naturally with all of us as long as you maintain a great diet and stay away from unhealthy chemicals, alcohol, and get enough regular sleep you'll be fine 👍
Plus you'll likely be healthier too. Beauty doesn't help if you get sick..
Limit your exposure to the sun and WEAR SUNSCREEN! Keep your water intake high (64 oz a day) and get yourself a good skin care routine that includes a daily moisturizer. White peoples skin tends to dry out which causes aging

Not always true - Julianne Moore, Amy Adams, Anne Hathaway also have fair/porcelain skin and they don’t look like this. Of course procedures etc could have helped them but usually sunscreen and avoiding extensive sun exposure helps a lot.
She doesn’t have traditional signs of sun damage.
However she is as you said white, likely a smoker/drinks alcohol, and very likely has done a lot of drugs. That is much more likely than the other possibilities.
I mean yes .. but she is also just 33 years old. Don’t act like us pale girlies look like that in our early to mid 30s ☠️ The people I know definitely don’t. She is a heavy smoker and just looks somehow exhausted overall. And puffy cheeks can age pretty badly.

I think Shay also seems to take care of herself a lot more and she just seems like she really treats her appearance as a priority
