The Ayres Hotel Anaheim garners praise for its prime location, especially convenient for events at nearby venues like the Honda Center and Angels Stadium. Guests have called out the clean, spacious rooms and the array of amenities, including a complimentary hot breakfast that features made-to-order pancakes. Although some travelers find the noise level from street traffic to be a disturbance, many perceive the hotel as a good value, despite additional fees for services like early check-in and parking. Service at the hotel earns rave reviews, with a particular nod to the friendly staff and meticulous housekeeping.

Very very clean hotel, easy to find just off the 57 if you're coming down from LA. I stayed here mainly because I was going to a few hockey games at Honda Centre and this is located directly opposite. Check-in was relatively quick and we were given a deluxe queen room which we didn't complain about after we had only requested a standard queen. Rooms were spacious and clean. Although room service wasn't available, Ayres did provide menus for JT Schmids which was opposite and you could call directly from your room and they would call your room back when your food was ready for collection so this was a nice alternative to a room service provided directly through the hotel. Basic breakfast included with the room fee, each morning the breakfast hall was packed with guests, but not to the extent where you struggled for a table. Shuttle rides also provided to and from Disney! Will definitely stay here again next time I'm over to watch the Ducks!

Having stayed at the perfect Diamond Bar Ayres Suites last year, we had high hopes for this one. The price was good for the area which is what caught our attention plus the benefits of being close to Disneyland and breakfast included.

Check in was quick and pleasant. The room was as expected, but not as good as the Ayres Diamond Bar. It was large but a bit dusty round the corners and a few hairs could be seen around the room and bathroom. The AC was too noisy to use at night and we had 1 night where the room above us decided to shout and sing till 3am. The toilet blocked 3 times during our week, the flush just didnt work properly. The shower sometimes took 10 minutes to get warm, such a waste of water!

The one thing that did bug us is that the front desk staff did not once say hello or acknowledge us the entire stay (9 days). Every time we walked past they kept their heads down and never made eye contact, very odd! Never stayed in a USA hotel like that before. All other staff, especially house keeping and breakfast servers were very friendly and always gave a smile and a hello.

Breakfast was really good and actually cooked fresh for you, something that we've seen in decline. However, sometimes the queue got quite long to be served and the lady behind the counter did her best. The selection was pretty limited, despite being good we were sick of eggs and sausage by the end of the week.

Overall we had a good stay and would recommend. Parking should be free like the other Ayres we've stayed in.

I booked a family suite using their Disney Magic package which included breakfast and parking. The hotel and rooms were extremely clean. Front staff had great customer service and the bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in at a hotel. Breakfast was ok. There was bacon and eggs and potatoes. It would've been nice if there was a sign that said what was offered. When I walked up to the breakfast counter the chef asked what I would like and everything was covered up. He seemed a little irritated that he had to explain what was covered up and inside the chafing dishes. I guess there is also pancakes, fruit bowls and cereal but you have to ask specifically for it. It was a hot breakfast so I can't really complain. The pool was little disappointing. We thought it was small and the hot tub looked kind of green and dirty on the bottom. It also backed up to the freeway and the noise was too loud for us. There was a gym but it was tiny. We traveled with two other families and we struggled finding a spot to relax together before heading out to Disneyland. The only place would be the lobby area. It was definitely the best price around Anaheim but you do miss out on amenities. If you are looking for an affordable, clean comfortable place to sleep and a free warm breakfast this would be it!

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice because of the great value for what you pay. It’s easy to get in and out of the parking lot and the parking is cheap! The rooms are pretty large (4th floor street facing have partially vaulted ceilings) and have kitchenettes with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink and a table with two chairs. The free breakfast was decent with eggs, a breakfast meat, pancakes, and potatoes with cold breakfast options as well.

Cons: My first visit there were people smoking weed and cigarettes in the rooms but the last visit I smelled neither. Also, the toilet paper is the thinnest one-ply known to man so BYOTP! Lastly, if you purchase through Priceline they don’t add Anaheim tax so you pay more at the hotel (not a ton more but irritating that it’s more than agreed to when booking).

Overall I’m happy with this hotel and will stay there again.

Overall we had a good stay, we did an early check in, the check in clerk was friendly but seemed to get agitated easily when asked some questions, (one of the reasons for the four stars and not five overall) we did the Disneyland package and we were trying to figure out the art shuttle service to Disneyland, it is not real hard but takes a few minutes to figure out and we did have questions.
The room was very clean, a bit warm when we entered but clean and very comfortable. The water to the sink in the room was turned off, so the in room sink did not work but overall the room was clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast was good, all the basic breakfast items from cereal to bacon and eggs, the person serving was very nice and helpful.
Overall this is a very nice clean hotel, I always feel as though the hotel I stay at is over priced no matter which hotel it may be but this one was worth the price, the only negative was the front desk clerk was a bit agitated when asked a few simple questions.

This is the first time we (well travelled) stayed at at Ayres property and the first time attending an event at the Honda Center. We found it a bit pricey and inappropriate to charge for guest parking in this area. However, the location was TERRIFIC fr attending an event at Honda, nice to come out of the event in the evening and only a short walk to our comfy room. Room was very comfy and in good condition. Fluffy towels. The gym was small but well equipped. The pool was unattractive and right next to the parking lot..not a fun place to hang out. The staff at the desk and housekeeping were EXCELLENT and very helpful. Breakfast was hot and nice variety with ample seating for a full house (breakfast staff need to cleanup after guests vacate instead of leaving dirty tables).
We were waken by the fire alarm at 1 AM and all guests had to evacuate to outside where it was raining (1st rain during this year's draught)...was disappointed in the staffs' inability to let guests know that it was safe to return (no fire, just alarm system had problem). Poor communication/preparation for a potentially dangerous.
At least the room was very clean and comfortable and the management adjusted our bill to our satisfaction...still a bit pricey.
For those interested the Metrolink station is a short walk away as well and next time we stay here we will take MetroLink in from Riverside. We hopefully will be back the next time we attend an event at the Honda..

We stayed as a family of four, during a trip to Disneyland. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The location to Disney was about 10 to 15 minute drive, but the ART busses were perfect for getting us to and from Disney parks. They pick up right outside of hotel lobby and drop off in front of the bag check area- couldn't have been more convenient!
We also really enjoyed the daily breakfast, which included pancakes, hash browns, eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, coffee, juice.
We tried to go swimming one evening, but it was too cold and I don't think the pool was heated well enough. Although it would probably be better in the summer.
We will definitely come back and would recommend to any families going to Disney.

I booked this Ayres Hotel for our Girl Scout Troop as we were participating in the Girl Scout Night at the Angels Stadium. The Sales Manager was very prompt on my email request for a group rate and we were very pleased with the price. On the day of check-in they were very accommodating to trying to get all of our rooms on the same floor so the Girl Scouts could all be together. The pool was fun bonus! This hotel is prime location for our Troop to be able to walk to and from the Angels Stadium, allowing us to save on parking and fun for the troop to walk together to the game. Beds and pillows were comfortable. A/C was cold. Tub was nice and wide/deep for kids to take a bath. And the hot breakfast is always a favorite at the Ayres Hotel and a main reason we like to stay at Ayres resorts! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

The hotel is conveniently located close to Disney and the convention center. The area is nice, clean and we feel safe there. The beds were comfortable and the in room air conditioner was very quiet, so sleep quality was good. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel room is clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was scale back due to covid-19, but they still served hot food such as scramble eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, coffee and juices. Overall we have a nice stay and will stay there again in the future.

Checked into this hotel with no problems. Customer service was quick and to the point. Booked a king size room very last minute and it’s SO roomy! There is a living area with a fridge, microwave, and separate sink (away from bathroom too) in the living area. There’s a divider from the living area from the bed so it’s great and private.

MY ONLY PROBLEM, and it doesn’t have anything to do with the hotel at all, is that I advise everyone to check what weekend they’re coming into town so you avoid certain crowds and price spikes (I did not do this). I’m staying when Monster Jam is in town but I’m here for a quick Disneyland trip. Attached is a photo of a gentleman that made himself at home. I walked out of the hotel to go to dinner and drinks with my husband to see this guy with his bare feet on the lobby coffee table and we came back and this guy was STILL here. Can someone tell him that this table is right outside the dining room and families place their food and drinks on this table?? What a disgusting thing to do in a public family place and what awful friends for not telling him to do that....how embarrassing.
