Some celebrity love stories draw you in immediately—and Emily Blunt and John Krasinski's romance serves as a perfect example.

Together for 11 years (and married for nine), the two actors have always been a staple on the red carpet, charming us with their effortless fashion sense and clear-as-day chemistry. And while they're no strangers to a photo-op or two, the pair is relatively quiet when it comes to their personal lives. So what is the key to Blunt, 36, and Krasinksi's, 39, #goals worthy union?

"Neither of them has a jealous bone in their body," said Rob Marshall, who directed Blunt in 2018's Mary Poppins Returns. "People think marriage is looking deep into each other's eyes. No, it's looking out and seeing the same life. Emily and John see the same life."

Their journey together says it all.

2008: Emily Blunt and John Krasinski were introduced by a mutual friend.

Blunt and Krasinski had what is arguably the most adorable meet-cute we've heard of. Both have opened up in the past about the first time they met, with The Office star revealing details on The Ellen Show in 2011, and the Mary Poppins lead relaying the charming story on Late Night with Seth Meyers in 2018.

It turns out that both were hanging out at the same restaurant—but with other people. Krasinski was with fellow actor Justin Theroux and Blunt was with a friend who also knew Krasinski.

"He abandoned Justin and came over to talk to us," Blunt said. "He did not eat. He just stood there and made me laugh." She said that from the moment he walked over "that was it."

Krasinski also felt that instant connection.

"It’s one of those things where, as soon as you meet someone, you kind of know,” he said on The Ellen Show. “I wasn’t really looking for a relationship… then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, ‘Oh God, I think I’m going to fall in love with her.’ And as I shook her hand I went, ‘I like you.' So if anyone’s looking to pick up a girl, that’s the way to do it. You don’t need any pick up lines; just be weird.”

The two also had a few rom-com-style perfect dates, including going to a gun range for their very first date and then enjoying pizza at Krasinski's apartment. They've also repeatedly watched Jaws and The Devil Wears Prada, one of Blunt's earliest movies. Her beau has admitted to watching it...a few times.

"We had just started dating and she had come over to my house," he told E!. "She popped by in between some things and I was watching it. She opened the door and I flipped the channel and she looked at me like, ‘Were you just watching porn?’…I think it was better for me at the time for her to think I was watching porn than watching The Devil Wears Prada for the seventy-fifth time.”

There's unfortunately not much info about the proposal—but what they have shared is super sweet.

"All I can say is that there were flutes playing in the background, butterflies, there were angels showering us with rainbow drops," Blunt jokingly told MTV News in 2009.

That same year her other half spoke to Access Hollywood, and at first, had a similarly not-so-serious answer. "We were here in L.A. and there were unicorns and oceans and clouds. She said yes!” he said. But we did get some actual details about their "very casual" proposal in the same interview.

"She did cry after I cried and we cried and then everyone around us was crying. Then, I think people weren’t really sure what was going on, but they were crying because we were crying. But it was great. At the end of the day she said yes, which is great. It’s a big part of this whole thing," he said.

2010: Blunt and Krasinski got married at George Clooney's home in Lake Como, Italy.

The couple have managed to keep details of their wedding under wraps—but at least we know where it took place.

"George said, 'I have this place and you should feel free to use it,'" the actor told Elle. "Only on the fourth ask did I say yes. Because the first three times I thought, There's no way he is serious. But I started to see his feelings get hurt. I actually hurt George Clooney's feelings."

2014: They welcomed their first child.

The duo welcomed their first daughter, Hazel, on February 16. Krasinski announced the news himself with a tweet.

"Wanted to let the news out directly. Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today! Happy bday!" he said.

Blunt opened up to the U.K.'s The Telegraph, calling her hubby "the diaper king."

"She is heaven; my heart sort of explodes. I’m wondering what we were doing without her, actually. I can’t really remember. John and I spend a lot of time going, ‘Isn’t she cute? Oh my God, look at her, she’s so cute," she said.

2016: Their second daughter was born.

They welcomed another girl, Violet, in mid-June 2016. Krasinski took to Twitter for a second time to announce the happy news.

"What better way to celebrate the 4th... than to announce our 4th family member!!! 2 weeks ago we met our beautiful daughter Violet #Happy4th"

The couple opened up to People about parenthood in 2018. As the two are more private when it comes to their personal lives, they've never shared any photos of their daughters. “My children’s happiness, their safety and their well-being is the most paramount thing in my life. And if [I am] unable to give them any of those things, then who am I? What’s my identity? " Blunt said.

She continued: “My greatest hope is that they are truly happy, and that they’re interested in life, in anything. Interested and interesting, and truly happy."

Krasinski later told Stephen Colbert that being a parent "is the best."

"It's that amazing, wonderful chaos," he said. "I have a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old and they just became—they've always been friendly, but they hold hands and are buddies now."

Honestly, the cuteness is almost too much.

2018: They co-starred for the first time in the horror film A Quiet Place.

Co-written and directed by Krasinski, the acclaimed blockbuster marked the first time the two actors shared the screen together. They played a husband and wife, who with their children, are attempting to survive in a post-apocalyptic world that's plagued by extraterrestrial creatures with dangerously keen hearing.

The role earned Blunt a Screen Actor's Guild award, and the power couple is not afraid to sing each other's praises when it comes to the subject of working together.

"We did not know what people would think of it and we didn’t know how it would be perceived so it was the warmest of welcomes and one that was truly an unforgettable night,” Blunt said of when they first screened the movie.

Krasinski himself requested that Blunt join the cast, and as her biggest fan, he told Deadline that having her on set with him was priceless.

"She was my best collaborator," he said of his wife. "I had my best cheerleader beside me the whole time."

2019: Krasinski supported Blunt on the red carpet.

Throughout their 11-year-long relationship, Krasinski and Blunt have been red carpet favorites, always showing up for each other's latest project and looking good AF while doing so.

One of their more recent public appearances was at the 2019 SAG Awards, where she was nominated for two different films: A Quiet Place and Mary Poppins Returns. As mentioned earlier, she won for the Krasinski-directed horror film.

"Honored to be on the arm of this double nominee tonight! #SAGawards" he wrote in a caption on Instagram.

Who doesn't stan (that's slang for an obsessed fan, by the way) a couple that passionately supports each other? We can't wait to see what's to come for these two.
