August, I was referred to Dr. Maharaj as my Respirologist of 21 years retired. The technician who did my breathing test was professional and personable. My first meeting with Dr. Maharaj was fine. After reviewing the breathing test results he asked if I was open to trying Inspiolto Respimat. After being stable on my current puffers I was hesitant but decided to try as he understood my lung function challenges and he said if I had any issues to call his office. He also said he would schedule a CTScan.\r\nI started the new puffer and 5 days later I started experiencing shortness of breath so I called the office and explained my symptoms. The woman said she would relay the message to the doctor and someone would call me back. The next day I was getting worse so I called again. The next day after no return call I decided to go back on my former puffer and routine so I called and left a voicemail saying I had no choice as I didn’t want to end up in the emergency room.\r\nIt’s now December and no call and no CTSCAN has been scheduled. \r\nI would not recommend this office or doctor to anyone who has a serious lung condition or who is unable to think or advocate for themselves. Minimally, I should have received a return call specifically since Dr. Maharaj treated me two years prior at the LDAP clinic where I received my diagnosis and he had no idea how my lungs would react to the new puffer.\r\nI do not doubt his credentials.
