Among the Trump era’s savviest insiders, one name stands especially tall: Kellyanne.

As a highly respected pollster for corporate and Republican clients and a frequent television talk show guest, Kellyanne Conway had already established herself as one of the brightest lights on the national political scene when Donald Trump asked her to run his presidential campaign. She agreed, delivering him to the White House, becoming the first woman in American history to manage a winning presidential campaign, and changing the American landscape forever. Who she is, how she did it, and who tried to stop her is a fascinating story of personal triumph and political intrigue that has never been told…until now.

In
Here’s The Deal, Kellyanne takes you on a journey all the way to the White House and beyond with her trademark sharp wit, raw honesty, and level eye. It’s all here: what it’s like to be dissected on national television. How to outsmart the media mob. How to outclass the crazy critics. How to survive and succeed male-dominated industries. What happens when the perils of social media really hit home. And what happens when the divisions across the country start playing out in one’s own family.

In this open and vulnerable account, Kellyanne turns the camera on herself. What she has to share—about our politics, about the media, about her time in the White House, and about her personal journey—is an astonishing glimpse of visibility and vulnerability, of professional and personal highs and lows, and ultimately, of triumph.

Kellyanne, look here's the deal....you knocked it out of the park with this book. Your strength, integrity, and brutal honesty serves you well and should be an inspiration for all women. Thank you for sharing both the good and bad, professionally and personally. You took great care of our President while wearing multiple hats. I am not referring to those awful pink one's. Everyone needs to get this book. God bless you.

A cuspy perspective that can serve as a litmus test for the coming cultural chasm.

An informative and enjoyable work by/about really a very, very sophisticated, talented person.

Sort of a bold, marching forward style to the prose hitting important events and life transitions while neatly weaving in more mundane true to life daily minutae like the spitup on the xxl sweatshirt.

The real insiders insider perspective from a down in trenches polling company exec whose hard work and smart management buoyed her and her company to the pinnacle of success.

Lots of straightforward and purposeful factual accounts of official and unofficial campaign and administration events with an understated undertone of the political and ideological subtext.

When the political standpoint becomes more polarized, like when speaking of more contemporary radicalized leftist big d democrat 'policies', she hammers it home, pulling no punches about parental rights, etc.

She is really kind of over the top, and the way she writes about her actions and impressions of notable events is too. I am almost taken aback at her language, bravado, spiritedness, like when you meet a general for the first time and all he says, shocked, is 'what is the meaning of this!'. Like she is someone so organized internally, has such high expectations of excellence and coordination from others that almost any real world mission or objective is never really going to satisfy her. But that is the way with truly exemplary personnel and you just have to take it in stride and not too personally.

I mean she sitting there with ceo of 100 mil dollar company going, hey you think me taking a five minute phone call from toddles is a big deal, what about the 7 out of eight hours your macho men spend online gambling in the work cubicles. And she's willing to go to the mat, turn down good paying work, and somehow bust her butt into the winning campaign manager for potus.

Overall, a little routine and typical recounting of water color mmmemmories, but if you went through some of the same drama personally it is eminently relatable. I found the literary work highly valuable to get the perspective from the horses mouth and I lean toward agreeing with the decisions made, philosophical viewpoint presented. It really is a litmus test for your own Myers Briggs rating, at the very least it should allow those with a complimentary, some would say opposite, worldview to learn about, become aware, educate on, perhaps *understand*, how a highly motivated, aggressive, no prisoners archetype cogitates, operates, evaluates and *decides* where to draw those lines about what is and isn't polite press conference cannon fodder.

I am so impressed with Kellyanne as a person and a professional! Her career path and life are interesting and impressive. I love to hear and/or watch interviews or commentary from her. She is eloquent and skilled with words, she did a lot for Trump while he was in office and appears to be loyal to the end. The ONLY complaint I have about this book is that there was so many details about the issues and scandals that arouse during Trump's time in the White House. The Democrats put him through so much that was unfair and damaging for the country that it was difficult to live through that again with the book.

Well written, interesting book by KC, about KC. I've been a fan since first time I saw her on TV long ago. She is very talented and smart and this easy read is just like her. I'm sorry she and George couldn't work things out. Of course, this is from her point of view, but even publicly he was in a bad position, then put her in a difficult situation. You will enjoy this book.

This is not a story of a fictional shoeshine boy struggling to make it big in America, and who gets there through a benefactor’s help. No, it is rather an all-too-true struggling Algeresque-type girl from South Jersey who blasts through glass ceilings and reaches summits of success with direct help from nobody but herself. “Whatever gifts God gives,” Kellyanne says, “…depend on the rocket fuel of hard work.” And that is exactly what she has done. To reach the stratospheres of her personally-defined successes she not only put a ton of hard work into her life, but has exerted both patience and intelligence to get there— but especially love. Love for her family, love for her friends, and love for all the hardworking people of America.

This is a motivational story for sure, one that can be read regardless of political affiliation. But those of us who have followed the ins-and-outs of politics during the past several years will find it doubly intriguing. We can quickly and easily skip along over the events that Kellyanne so astutely describes in her witty, easy-to-read style— or we may want to stop reading abruptly! We may want to ponder, contemplate, and inject our own thoughts and conclusions into the subject matter.

For example, Kellyanne is perplexed about the vicious tweets of her normally loving husband, George. This reader thought about it and concluded that the horrific, unpatriotic, anti-Trump tweets of George were a welling up of George’s sub-conscious jealousy of the president’s close relationship with his wife. Indeed, the book itself closes with a description of an elegant dinner for a party of three—Donald, Melania, and Kellyanne. Where was George?

Stopping reading to ponder, of course, slows down finishing the book. But that’s just fine— this is the kind of book a reader doesn’t want to end. It’s an engrossing, fast-paced, page-turner that at times is grippingly suspenseful. Kellyanne, as the years of your life continue, we need a sequel!

This book is a must read. Besides being a quick thinker, she tells it like it is even admitting he own errors without offering an excuse. She gives credit where credit is due even to people that hurt her. This is a tremendous read, hard to put down. She exemplifies the strong, bold, unbending but not unfeeling, successful woman that every female can look to as a role model.
