GOOD MORNING - What's on you mind SUNDAY
Good Sunday morning everyone. Just printed out the ECS freebie for July and think I'll make it into a fridge magnet. Yesterday I put up the summer decor and now just waiting for summer to arrive in the next 18 days. I think this month I will be concentrating on smalls. I'm just not feeling full coverage pieces lately and just do a little at a time. Hope today is an outside stitching day and a quiet day. Have a blessed Sunday.

She Wins the Record
for the most times a person escaped handcuffs during one arrest. Drunk woman on the Lions Bridge in St Augustine, FL - fights police and escapes handcuffs more than once. Really sad part is her young son was there with her. And some people think police don't earn their pay. 😕 This is what police professionalism looks like - from those dealing with her to the one who helped her son.

advice of framing cross stitch
Good Morning everyone - I have a question regarding self sticking mounting boards. I have watched Utube videos on framing/mounting, etc and alot of seems really complicated. I am not a very artistic hands on person , meaning having to measure, cut, pin, cut around it, pin again etc etc is not one of my skills. I was wondering if anyone has ever used the self-sticking mounting boards. I read some reviews (on reddit, etc) that basically says to stay away from it because over time it can ruin the fabric. I know they sell it here on this site (ECS) but there are no reviews. They do sell it on amazon and it has fairly good reviews. Has anyone used it? Is it fairly simple , etc. I do have a couple of pieces that I think I am going to get professionally framed, but for most pieces, I would like to frame them myself.

Any way to purchase this pattern only?
I prefer working on linen with over dyed floss.

Good Morning
Genesis 46 21-34
21 The sons of Benjamin were Belah,
Becher, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman
Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim, and Ard.
22 These were the sons of Rachel, who
were born to Jacob; fourteen persons in all.
23 The son of Dan was Hushim
24 The sons of Naphtali were Jahzeel, Guni,
Jezer, and Shillem.
25 These were the sons of Bilhah, whom Laban
gave to Rachel his daughter, and she bore
these to Jacob: seven persons in all.
26 All the persons who went with Jacob to Egypt,
who came from his body, besides Jacob's sons'
wives were sixty-six persons in all.
27 And the sons Joseph who were born to him
in Egypt were two persons. All the persons of
the house of Jacob who went to Egypt were seventy,
28 Then he sent Judah before him to Joseph, to point
out before him the way to Goshen. And they came
to the land of Goshen.
29 So Joseph made ready his chariot and went up to
Goshen to meet his father Israel; and fell on his neck
and wept on his neck a good while.
30 And Israel said to Joseph, "Now let me die, since
I have seen your face, because you are still alive."
31 Then Joseph said to his brothers and to his father's
household, "I will go up and tell Pharaoh, and say to
him, 'My brothers and those of my father's house,
who were in the land of Canaan, have come to me.
32 'And the men are shepherds, for their occupation
has been to feed livestock; and they brought their
flocks, their herds, and all that they have.'
33 "So it shall be, when Pharaoh calls you and says,
' What is your occupation?'
34 "that you shall say, "Your servants' occupation has been
with livestock from our youth even till now, both we and
also our fathers', that you may dwell in the land of Goshen;
for every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians."
Have A Bless Day!
Happy Sunday
Great morning, folks. Since this is the day the Lord has made, we might as well rejoice and be glad in it!. My usual aches and pains seem to be taking a sabbath, and I hope yours will. You know what they say about thinking on things that are lovely. Even if this is not your day to stitch, think on the peace cross-stitch will bring you when you pick it up again.
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SATURDAY
Good Saturday morning stitching friends. A beautiful day in store with blue skies and sunshine. Bryan is framing Betsy Ross and Raven Queen will be retired to the closet until fall. Leftover stuffed peppers and it's always good when no cooking involved and I can happily stitch on Sheep Virtues. Wishing you all a good weekend!
Strands of floss
Thank you all for such good advice. I still should have followed my gut feeling and used 2 strands. You all helped so I didn't overthink everything. I've been working an average of 6 hours a day as stamped design is disappearing and I keep having to use my pen to mark it. I'm glad the rest of my future granddaughters items are counted cross stitch lol.
The Magical Unicorn
Would LOVE to do this for my niece. But I can no longer handle beads. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO DO A CONVERSIOIN CHART SO WE CAN USE kREINIK FLOSS INSTEAD.
