Actress Ritika Singh, who has made a name for herself in the Tamil film industry by being a part of some critically acclaimed films, on Wednesday shared a picture of herself with actor Rajinikanth on the sets of his upcoming film Vettaiyan.
The actress, who was visibly excited by the opportunity to work Rajinikanth, posted her picture with the superstar on her Instagram page to the background score of Viva La Vida from Cold Play.
What Ritika Wrote
She wrote, "This song sums up exactly how it feels to be around the legendary Thalaivar. His grace, his aura, his presence is truly unmatched. I’m having the time of my life working on set with him right now. Forever grateful for the opportunity."Meanwhile, Rajinikanth, when asked by a television channel for an update on the film and its release date, informed that 75 per cent of the film's shooting had been done and that the release date would be decided once the remaining portions were shot.
About Vettaiyan:
The film, which is Rajinikanth's 170th film, is being directed by T J Gnanavel, the man who made the critically acclaimed court room drama Jai Bhim.
Apart from Rajinikanth, Vettaiyan will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan among others.
Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca productions, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by S R Kathir.
