CSK vs SRH Highlights: It was a dominant bowling performance by Chennai Super Kings who dominated with the ball against Sunrisers Hyderabad to take the win at home by 78 runs.
CSK’s victory was led by Tushar Deshpande clearing out the explosive top-order by picking up the wickets of Travis Head, Anmolpreet Singh and Abhishek Sharma within the powerplay.
Following this the defending champions continued to dominate through the middle overs as they restricted the runs which in turn led to wickets as Sunrisers Hyderabad were all-out for just 134 runs.
Tushar Deshpande finished with his best IPL figures of 4/27 in 3 overs followed by two wickets by Mustafizur Rahman and Matheesha Pathirana and singular wickets for Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur as CSK maintained their undefeated record against SRH at Chepauk.
Ruturaj Gaikwad missed his second IPL ton by just two runs while Daryl Mitchell scored a fine half-century as five-time champions Chennai Super Kings scored 212 for 3 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Ajinkya Rahane (9) early was a big setback but Gaikwad (98 off 54 balls) carried out the repair work in right earnest with New Zealander Mitchell, who scored 52 off 32 deliveries.
The pair also shared a 107-run stand for the second wicket. Shivam Dube then played a cameo of 39 not out (20 balls) and shared a 74-run stand with his skipper to guide CSK to a 200-plus total.
For SRH, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jaydev Unadkat and T Natarajan took a wicket each.

A dominant bowling performance by the Super Kings and it was led by that fine spell in the powerplay by Tushar Deshpande who cleared out the top order. That was the difference as CSK did what they do best in the middle-overs as the had their vice-grip to choke SRH from scoring too many boundaries which then led to wickets falling in regular intervals as CSK got the win.

Mustafizur to Unadkat: W!
There it is the final wicket is gone. Unadkat looked to drive it past the covers but found the fielder at the mid-wicket region for the catch taken by Moeen Ali. A low one but taken by the Englishman to seal the emphatic win for CSK.

SRH 134/10 in 18.5 Overs
Mustafizur to Shahbaz: W!
Shahbaz is gone and somehow the ball keeps finding Mitchell who takes his fifth catch of the game. This time he was standing by the ropes at the fine-leg region. Shahbaz looked to pull it but was not able to get enough power behind the ball as SRH are one wicket away from defeat.

SRH 132/8 in 18.1 Overs
Deshpande to Cummins: W!
Cummins looks to go big with a slog. But Deshpande continues to shine with Mitchell being outstanding on the field tonight. The bowler gets his fourth wicket while the fielder gets his fourth catch as Cummins finds the Kiwi international at the deep mid-wicket region.
Pat Cummins 5(7) c. D Mitchell b. T Deshpande
SRH 124/8 in 17.3 Overs

SRH 119/7 in 16.2 Overs

Classic Pathirana there and the slinger gets the big wicket of the set batter, Aiden Markram. The yorker at 147 clicks gets the better of the South African international and the middle stump is uprooted.
Aiden Markram 32(26) b. M Pathirana
SRH 85/5 in 10.5 Overs
Jadeja to Nitish: W!
Cheeky from Jadeja as he catches the batter off-guard with a quick shorter delivery which the batter looks to pull but sends it way up in the air and MS Dhoni takes the catch to give yet another wicket for CSK.

Chahar to Markram: 4! 4!
Markam gets the thick edge on the delivery which is full and outside the off-stump line which pierces the gap at the backward-point region for the boundary to get some more crucial runs. Markram will have to anchor this innings.
SRH 49/3 in 5.1 Overs
Deshpande to Abhishek: W!
Deshpande has his third wicket in this powerplay and he gets the danger man, Abhishek Sharma. Another full and wide delivery which Abhishek looks to attack but finds the fielder at the point region again. Same as the Head dismissal
Abhishek Sharma 15(9) c. D Mitchell b. T Deshpande
SRH 40/3 in 3.5 Overs
Deshpande to Abhishek: 4!
A delivery on the slot and Abhishek Sharma slaps it straight past the bowler which races away for the boundary. Easy pickings for the left-hander which rightfully punished.
SRH 40/2 in 3.4 Overs
Chahar to Markram: 4! 4!
Consecutive boundaries by Aiden Markram. Gets off the mark in style as he finds the boundary which is glanced towards the short-fine-leg region for four runs. Follows it up with another boundary which is cut towards the backward point region for four more. Too short and wide there from the pacer.
SRH 30/2 in 2.3 Overs
Deshpande to Anmolpreet: W!
Another wicket on the bounce for CSK. SRH bring in their impact sub, Anmolpreet Singh who gives away his wicket straight away with an easy catch to the man at midwicket. What a start for the home side.
