Frederick Maurice DeCoste
1932-2024
Peacefully, at The Mount Continuing Care Community, on
Monday, April 29, 2024 of Frederick Maurice DeCoste of Charlottetown,
age 92 years.
Beloved husband of the late Ruth
DeCoste (Hughes). Loving father of Captain Jim DeCoste (dec.), Maureen
(Roger dec.) Doiron, Brian (Christine), John (Carolyn) and Cathy
DeCoste Whitlock. Proud grampy of Shawn Doiron, Jana Blanchard,
Rebecca DeCoste, Ben DeCoste, Megan Grady, Pat DeCoste, and Steven
Whitlock. Maurice will also be lovingly remembered by his
great-grandchildren; Hailey Blanchard, Brandyn Blanchard, Gabriel
Doiron, Kieran Doiron, Aiden Connor, Aria DeCoste, Anderson DeCoste,
Olivia Grady, Della Grady, Quincey Grady and Kamden DeCoste.
In addition to his son; Captain Jim DeCoste and
son-in-law; Roger, Maurice was predeceased by his parents; Arthur and
Gertrude DeCoste (Smith), brothers; Harold DeCoste, Bill DeCoste, Paul
DeCoste and sister; Lorraine DeCoste.
Resting
at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. Funeral Mass on
Friday, May 3, 2024 from St. Dunstan’s Basilica at 2:00 p.m.
Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. No
public visitation by personal request.
