The film Moi Aussi is only 17 minutes long, but it is one of the most talked-about entries at the Cannes Film Festival.

The short film, which translates to Me Too in English, was written and directed by actress Judith Godrèche and features snippets of personal accounts of thousands of sexual assault victims. Godrèche, one of the first women to come forward against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein in 2017, has been leading a new awakening of the #MeToo movement in France, and her campaign over recent months to draw attention to persistent sexual abuse in the French film industry found a receptive audience on the red carpet.
