It was actually really challenging academically for me. It depends on your academic background going in. If you went to prep schools, and do a non-STEM major, you may have a better time academically, than if you're pursuing premed studies or are an engineering major or something.
New Hampshire is also a very white! And Dartmouth is also in a rural area, that's kinda far from most things to do. If you love outdoors stuff, you'll love it here. Dartmouth is very, very pretty in ALL seasons too. Parties are what most students do on their weekends to wind down, so if that's your vibe, loads of fun! professors are also really nice, eager to help and open!

My experience at Dartmouth has been great so far. The education is high quality and so are the professors. There are great opportunities for practical work and research. And the student body and campus life is lively and welcoming. The university is not perfect and the frat culture is very big here, but it is a wonderful place to be.
Overall, I had a great experience at Dartmouth. I was very immersed in campus activities including sports and the arts. I was also able to travel abroad. My professors were great overall, and I felt prepared for the professional world for the most part when I graduated.
