IJBFC Video Library

After decades of requests, the IJBFC has a video library.  Jack Benny's work in television and movies has often been extremely elusive, and we hope to be able to make this material more readily available for our members to discover and enjoy.  We offer a variety of Jack Benny titles, and are continuously expanding our listing through the help of the IJBFC membership. 

These titles are available on DVD only. 

Apologies to people who only have tape capabilities, but the cost of high-speed video duplicating equipment is beyond the finances of the IJBFC (and getting speedily antiquated).  But you can get a DVD player for under $50 now, and enjoy Benny titles and lots more.

NOTE:  These materials are released for educational or research purposes ONLY according to Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright code.  They may not be used for resale, publication, production or public display.

How do I order?

• Select the titles you want from the video library.  In a single order, you can select up to 5 DVDs with your hand-picked titles or up to 10 special collections.
• Send the list of your wants plus the requisite number of  DVDs (can be DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, or DVD+RW) to:  IJBFC, P.O. Box 11288, Piedmont, CA 94611.  A donation to the IJBFC of $10 per DVD is recommended, please include return postage at a minimum.
• I will copy your request onto the DVDs and return it to you.  

Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing (sorry folks...I'm one person with one DVD burner)

How do I know how many DVDs to send?

We will try to combine as many titles as possible on a single DVD for you, which can hold 2 hours of material. However, titles cannot be broken across DVDs.  (Note:  Many television programs are part of special collections and cannot be combined with other programs.) Here are some examples of calculating the proper number of DVDs:

• 1 90-minute title (total 90 minutes) -> 1 DVD

• 1 90-minute title and 1 30-minute title (total 120 minutes) -> 1 DVD

• 4 30-minute titles (total 120 minutes) -> 1 DVD

• 2 90-minute titles (total 180 minutes) -> 2 DVDs

• 3 90-minute titles (total 270 minutes) -> 3 DVDs
