What's a soft launch when you're Kim Kardashian?

The reality TV star and Skims mogul skipped over the coquettish beginning stages of a new relationship (in which you coyly preview your partner to the social media masses via photos that clue in to their presence, like a dinner spread photo featuring their hands, perhaps, or a mirror selfie that shows only half their face) and dove right into a hard launch. In other words: Kardashian and Pete Davidson are now Instagram official.

Kardashian shared photos on Instagram today of her and the Saturday Night Live comedian cozying up for the camera. In one instance, he laid on her lap while they made kissing faces at each other. In another, Davidson snapped a black-and-white selfie of the two smiling.

"Whose car are we gonna take?!" she captioned the photos, referencing a quote from the 2010 thriller The Town. In the photos, Kardashian wore a head-to-hoe silver look made up of a glittering fringe coat and a pair of holographic heeled boots.

Kardashian recently made her first public comments about her relationship with Davidson in an interview with Variety, where she revealed whether or not fans can expect to see him make a cameo in her family's new Hulu reality show, The Kardashians.

“I have not filmed with him,” she told the outlet. “And I’m not opposed to it. It’s just not what he does. But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn’t be for this season.”
