Red Ruby was revealed on the 23rd of February alongside the single announcement for ‘Red Ruby Da Sleeze’ and was announced a day after it was revealed Nicki would be doing an episode of Queen Radio on the 3rd of March (also the release date of ‘Red Ruby Da Sleeze’) The song Red Ruby Da Sleeze also samples Lumindee’s ‘Never Leave You (Uh Oh)’. Red Ruby is often compared to Chun Li and Roman Zolanski, as she seems to be a mixture of both. Red Ruby also mentions Chun Li in her debut single with the line "Chinese on my sleeve, these wannabe Chun-Lis"
