Rating 3.53 out of 5 1,247 reviews
Bradley is a small university but is advertised as a mid-sized campus. It is very diverse, and one-third of its students are part of Greek Life! The Professors are okay, however, the math department is not very good. Additionally, the quality of life isn’t bad, but it isn’t great as the dorms have mold within the walls and they are not all the same sizes. The beds squeak and some rooms are better than others. The surrounding area has many places to go, but it isn’t very safe. The party scene is great as there are fourteen fraternities on campus throwing a party almost weekly, and there are many sorority women as well. The dining halls are subpar but they do have some good food occasionally. Definitely not as good as a Big 10 schools meal options but it gets the job done nonetheless. There are many activities to do on campus, but many of them aren’t very fun, or often pertain to a specific club or sport. The last few years the concerts on campus have been under budgeted.
In my recent spring semester, I have had the opportunity to engage with fellow artists and peers majoring in animation. In my classes and clubs, learning alongside and sharing my work with others who share my passion for character design has been an inspiring and enriching experience. This time with like-minded peers provided me with opportunities for feedback and collaboration. As a soon-to-be sophomore, there are so many more things that I have learned and themes I have learned to explore, and even more that I hope to utilize the knowledge and skills gained in my education to pursue a career in art with a specific focus on character and concept design.
I love the professors so far! I still need to take my classes, but I already have an excellent taste of what my next 2.5 years will be like! I will have many opportunities to grow, learn, and engage with others. There will be many moments of creating, collaborating, and innovating with my classmates.
