Hello we are Michael and Dawn Mitchell, who love being married & working events together!  We photograph all types of events together like fundraisers, proms, drag racing and golf outings! We always have fun at the events we shoot.  Meeting new people and attending some really cool events is a thrill for us.  We know when to be serious but enjoy just being silly most of the time.  We find it helps put people more at ease being in front of our cameras when we don't take ourselves so serious at events.  People laughing at Michael's bad jokes while I am giving him the "look" is common, allowing me to be back in control (ha ha)....no, seriously, we just have a lot of fun when we are working events and we hope everyone else does too!
 

Event photography is only one aspect of what we shoot.  We have a full service photography studio in downtown Elkhart where we also shoot family, seniors, portraits, commercial, real estate, corporate head shots, you name it.  You have a photography need, we have the cameras. ;-)

As much as we like to be the fun photographers, we are also very passionate about the quality of our work and continuously seek more education and training.  We often say "when we aren't shooting for pay, we are shooting for play".  This mindset allows us to focus on self assignments to hone our craft every day.

Michael and I love photographing in our studio because it allows us to control every aspect of a shoot from lighting to backdrops to hair, makeup and wardrobe, but being going on location and shooting out in the field is always an adventure for us!
