Henry graduated from Rogers High School and furthered his education at Owens Community College. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Henry enjoyed fishing, golfing, and gardening, especially with the grandchildren, where they would help plant and pick veggies. He liked watching baseball games and football, where he would cheer on the Cleveland Browns. A fan of warm weather, Henry and his family would travel all over, especially to the nice warm beaches.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, Barbara (Bertke) Duran, whom he married on November 25, 1978; three children, Henry Duran III, Martin (Nicole) Duran, and Paul (Tricia) Duran; six grandchildren, Lily, Grace, Gabe, Ellie, Preston, and Evie; a brother, Tom Duran; and his step-father, John Archibeque.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Ron Duran.
Family and friends may visit at Little Flower Catholic Church, 5522 Dorr St, Toledo, OH 43615, Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, where Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
