To assist you better, please answer the following questions:
1. Is there another administrator account set up on your computer?
2. Is it a Microsoft account or a local account?

I'm trying to factory reset my Nuvision tablet. The response that Wungraileng Vashi gave to the previous poster is completely irrelevant to the problem.
The combination of power + sound up or power + sound down doesn't produce any results.
Any idea how to do that?
I can't log in because I probably did a typo when I set the password on the original set up. It's not biggy since I haven't done anything with the tablet, I just need to be able to start over again. And it was a local user, not a microsoft account.
Any help (that is relevant and not just some empty blah like the above poster) is greatly appreciated.

Since any other method for How To Access Advanced Startup Options in Windows 8 or 10 will require the password, you'd need to Create Windows 10 Installation Media to boot into second screen to choose Repair Your Computer, then access Advanced Troubleshoot options to Reset Your Windows 10 PC.
You'll have a much better install if you don't use the Factory Recovery even if it's offered, but choose the Reset as illustrated in the link above and leave behind all the factory bloatware which throttles and interferes with Windows. If it forces factory install then I'd back out and try Windows 10 Refresh which leaves out the bloatware.

Sounds great. Do you pay much of a premium for them? The reason I ask is that PC maker's claim the bloatware cuts the costs to consumers so much we couldn't afford PC's without them.
Glad to hear Reset works well, as it should (like everything else) if it isn't fighting bloat.
