Last year, Saiyami Kher garnered a lot of love from the audience and critics for her noteworthy performance in R Balki’s Ghoomer. The film, which also featured Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role, cemented Saiyami’s position in the industry and gave her a platform to showcase her talent. Now, it is reported that Saiyami is soon to collaborate with director Neeraj Pandey for his next.

Saiyami Kher to team up with Neeraj Pandey

Director Neeraj Pandey is known for giving us some memorable films including A Wednesday and M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Special 26 and more. In his next project, the director will be joined by actress Saiyami Kher for an author-backed role in exploring a woman-oriented subject. The project is a Netflix Original and is all set to go on floors soon.

Saiyami and Neeraj have previously worked together on the web series Special Ops, which served as an icebreaker for the duo and opened the doors for their future collaborations. However, it is believed that Neeraj took the call to cast Saiyami for this particular film due to her empowering performance in Ghoomer.

A source close to the development revealed, “The film will begin shooting from 15 February, the production team gears up for a 30-day shooting schedule, ensuring the film’s timely completion and delivery of a high-quality cinematic masterpiece. They are planning to shoot the entire film in one go. There will be no break. It will be a Netflix original.”

Recently seen in R Balki’s Ghoomer, Saiyami is currently gearing up for another film with the director. Apart from this, she is also set to star in Rahul Dholakia’s Agni and an untitled film helmed by Anurag Kashyap.
