Channel Points Guide for Viewers
Channel Points is a customizable points program that lets creators reward members of their community with perks, including a taste of benefits typically reserved for subscribers. It’s available to all partners and affiliates.
Channel Points are a way to be recognized for all the ways you already supporting the community, from watching a channel to being part of a raid. The points you earn are specific to the channel and the points accumulate automatically when you’re logged in and watch. The more support you give, the more you’ll earn.

How to Earn Channel Points
Channel Points are unique to each enrolled channel and can be earned through various actions such as Watching, Following, and Participating in Raids. Doing these actions on an eligible channel will reward you with Channel Points for that channel.
Channel Points can be viewed and accessed at the bottom of the chat window on enrolled channels.
You will earn Channel Points periodically as you watch enrolled channels. Additionally, at certain intervals, you’ll receive click-to-claim notifications at the bottom of the chat window. These bonuses will give you more points.
To claim, click the notification and your Channel Point balance will be updated accordingly.
Channel Points that are earned through Following and participating in a Raid are automatically claimed on your account.
But it doesn’t stop there! Keep up a Watch Streak on an enrolled channel when you watch their next broadcast.
Watching consecutive broadcasts will increase your Watch Streak, and you will automatically earn additional Channel Points per consecutive broadcast you watch as long as the Watch Streak remains intact.
Be sure not to miss a broadcast or the Watch Streak will be broken! Keep up to date with the creator’s schedule to ensure you don’t miss out!
Channel Points Earn Rates
Below you can find the current earn rates for Channel Points through various actions. These rates are subject to change.
Having a subscription to a channel will earn you extra Channel Points as you watch that channel.
- Tier 1: 1.2x multiplier for watching.
- Tier 2: 1.4x multiplier for watching.
- Tier 3: 2x multiplier for watching.
How to Use Channel Points
Channel Points can be used on channel rewards that the creator has enabled or added themselves. The amount of Channel Points required per reward may vary by channel as creators may set the amount of Channel Points required to redeem specific rewards.
To begin using your Channel Points, simply click the Channel Point icon at the bottom left of the chat window. Once done a window will appear showing you the reward options for that channel and the respective amount of Channel Points required to redeem the reward.
After selecting a reward, follow the instructions provided.
After you’ve completed all of the needed steps for the chosen reward, we’ll confirm with you that you wish to use your Channel Points on this reward. To continue, simply click the purple Unlock button followed by the amount of Channel Points that will be deducted.
