Connected with a partner plan. So far so good I must say I am pleasantly surprised. If they take pitching your music as seriously as they take preparing you to pitch your music, then they are a fantastic organization.
I am a big fan of tools they give you to operate your business and so far I’ve moved about 80% my labels catalogue here. Also looking to get connected with their rights collections in every way available. Pretty good customer service as well. I hope to also do business with their marketing team monthly for a long time to come.

Very long submission process-
I’m on their starter plan, and the one thing I would like to see improved is the approval time. I am however happy with the responses I’ve been receiving - they have been super helpful and clear

Tried multiple distributors from AWAL to TuneCore and all. I've been with Symphonic since 2016 and it is the only one I could stick to. Others are either not feature-rich, or they won't pay you, or they'll make copyright problems out of nothing, or do something new and creative to make sure you run away..

I have had dealings with almost all the DSPs and I've found Symphonic to be very personable and also very responsive.
Even when I have multiple queries the responses indicate a level of understanding the queries and the responses are proficient and accurate.
I've never got the feeling that I'm communicating to a robot.

This distro company allows their users releasing music under other artists' names. They keep releasing fake music albums every week using my artist name. Instead of labeling correctly their fake artists to their fake profiles, they use mine to have a bigger audience. I have told them several times that they must distribute the music to the correct profile, but they keep playing this dirty game.

First, this individual does not appear to be a customer and has a track record of leaving reviews on distributors that are invalid as you can see by clicking into the history.
Symphonic, like every other distributor in the world has to abide by DSP guidelines, standards. This includes that if an artist name is trademarked, to place it onto internal watchlists so that if anyone uses that artist name, the release is blocked and/or sent back for rights verification. Any such time that an artist name is used, a DMCA takedown request via the DSP can be done of which then Symphonic will investigate, action, and make necessary changes.
If the artist names in question aren't copyrighted, trademarked, and/or on watchlists, there isn't much a company like us can do other than speak to our clients to make recommended changes and work as best we can / fast as we can to accommodate all parties.
Symphonic’s Terms of Use and our agreements strictly prohibit any type of improper activity, including artificial streaming and infringement. The DSPs to which Symphonic supplies our client’s content for monetization also strictly prohibit any type of improper activity on their platforms. Remedies of both the DSPs and Symphonic include, but are not limited to, account termination. Symphonic provides educational materials concerning improper activity which can be found on Symphonic’s site and socials to help clients remain compliant with our policies and the policies of our partners. Symphonic communicates to impacted clients when such remedies are invoked on their account concerning improper activity. If any such action was taken on an account, it was in line with Symphonic’s and the DSP’s Terms of Use and agreements. If there are any questions about action taken on an account, the user may refer to the communication that would have been supplied directly by Symphonic concerning the action taken on the account, the Terms of Use of Symphonic and the over 200+ DSPs to which Symphonic supplies client content, and the agreement which was executed with Symphonic for further clarity.

Let's be honest here. When it comes to distribution, it used to be 'you get what you pay for.' Which in my previous experiences have all fell short of satisfaction despite paying more money for what was supposed to be a better service. Granted it's not like we just sign up and like magic everything falls into place. But for such a low yearly price considering the tools at your disposal, that in itself drew me to choose Symphonic rather than renew with a previous company. But when I say these guys were quick to take action, I was impressed not only by ease of use but at how quickly they not only responded to me that they were on it. But it wasn't even hours later that I got another response informing me of the success of said request. I haven't even barely scratched the surface of things they can help the entire process of distribution etc super simple and easy to use.

They scammed us in an incredible way of more than 20,000$ after we went viral and reached almost 10 Million Streams in spotify with the reason of "safe and trust" closing your account without responses from support
After a month without any response form the support and our release still live in stores we have sent a copyright to take it down .

The reviewer illegally infringed on the rights of another artist, one that has been around for many years. We take Trust & Safety very seriously and go as far as reaching out to original rightsholders to verify. This individual was cancelled for committing copyright infringement and not being the real artist they claim to be.
We've fed a few projects through their system. They're responsive to inquiries, both from the help team and the artist relations team, and they do an excellent job in setting up and delivering releases, as well as on promo followthrough.
