Alejandro Turdo Hoy Sale Cine Forest of Death is a small but effective Horror flick. It proves its knowledge of horror tropes and how to use them to its advantage. But at the same time it is smart enough not to fall for the genre clichés while delivering the goods. Rated: 7/10 Apr 22, 2023 Full Review Tony Asankomah GhMovieFreak “Forest of Death” is a standout horror film made with limited resources that defies genre expectations and showcases the creative talents of its director, Brendan Rudnicki. Rated: 6/10 Apr 12, 2023 Full Review Michael Talbot-Haynes Film Threat The film is like a street-level scrapper who can fight their way to a championship. It may not have cost much, but it will rip your skin off and run away with it. Rated: 8.5/10 Apr 10, 2023 Full Review Federico Furzan Movie-Blogger.com In Brendan Rudnicki’s Forest of Death, there’s no intention of rewriting the genre’s rules or making a huge film. This is the proof of the importance of new filmmakers when it comes to experimentation and trials and errors being effective in the end. Rated: 3.2/5 Apr 10, 2023 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X Forest of Death hangs together as a respectable indie horror entry. Rated: B Apr 3, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Malcolm H Terrible production, terrible plot, terrible NON acting. One of the worst "horror" movies I've ever seen. I don't even have anything else to say. I feel like my time was stolen lmao. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/15/24 Full Review Chloe S terrible acting. couldnt even get very far into it or enjoy the story Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Juli S This ranks is one of the worst horror films I have ever seen. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. All of the other ratings must be by close friends of the "Director." There's nothing unique about the storyline. The acting is horrible. They must've borrowed the cabin from a friend because this film is so low budget that they weren't able to afford a pack of cards. There's a scene where they're playing cards and the cards are clearly made out of paper. I watched over 330+ films in the past year, most of which were in the Horror genre. This is the worst of the worst. I truly cannot remember the last time I saw something this bad in any genre. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/24 Full Review Alex S Terrible acting, terrible dialog. Apparently anyone with a pulse and daddy's money can graduate from film school. The entire horror genre appears to be circling the bowl. Very disappointing. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/02/23 Full Review Josh K Someone must have paid these "critics" a lot to get this type of praise... The acting is atrocious, the scares are muted and obvious and it visually looks like a college thesis film. Spare yourself the disappointment! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/31/23 Full Review Raiodesol S This movie clearly suffers from the low budget problem, and also the clear laziness to write dialogue. But if you watch it from the perspective of a low budget, this movie actually deliver some tension. Hopefully a studio can get the rights to it and make a sequel exploring the potential it has, because it has a lot, but can't quite get there!
