Flagler College is a private, residential college located in the northeast section of Florida in the city of St. Augustine. Students admitted to the college have the opportunity to choose from more than 30 student clubs and organizations, as well as more than 10 intramural sports. Although there is no existing Greek life on campus, there are social clubs and honor fraternities for students interested in participating. All freshmen are required to live on campus during their first year unless they are living with their parents within commuting distance. Ponce De Leon Hall, the central building on campus, is a National Historic Landmark and houses roughly 480 female students. The Flagler Saints compete in the Peach Belt Conference in the NCAA Division II.
St. Augustine has the distinction of being the oldest continuously occupied European settlement in the United States. Flagler College offers a trip to Disney World at the beginning of the academic year for all first-year students admitted to the school. Students interested in making trips off campus are less than 100 miles from Orlando, Daytona Beach and Jacksonville. The campus is located roughly 4 miles from the Atlantic Ocean.
