Superchunk celebrating 'Foolish' 30th anniversary with fall tour

Superchunk‘s fourth album, Foolish, turns 30 this week, and to celebrate the band have announced fall tour dates where they will highlight songs off that album. Says frontman Mac McCaughan, “We’re excited to play a bunch of songs from Foolish (and as usual lots of other stuff) in the places where we made the record (Minneapolis and Chicago), some favorite towns we haven’t played in many years (Omaha, Lawrence, New Orleans) and one state where we’ve never played at all – this tour features our first show ever in South Dakota.”

There are no Northeast dates on this tour, so let’s hope they add some. In July, Superchunk are central to the Merge Records 35th anniversary festival in Carrboro, NC.
