Charming Abigail Breslin and wondrous Jodie Foster have a high old time on the high seas in this imaginative yarn. Breslin is Nim, a feisty South Pacific islander who recruits an adventure novelist (Foster) to help rescue the girl's biologist dad (Gerard Butler), who is lost at sea. Directed by Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett, who co-wrote the script based on Wendy Orr's popular young-adult book.
