It feels like it’s been forever since I’ve watched a film; been trying to get through my comics backlog.
This was a nice film that has a decent adventure vibe to it, with good performances, music and editing. The only drawback is that it has moments where it’s a bit random. Also other moments like a shot of a naked woman that I didn’t think was necessary as its age locks out a 12A audience that could have easily enjoyed this as a family film. However, I do like Wes Anderson’s ability to make you feel cozy and transport away to an immersive escapist fictional story.
All in all, a good movie if you want to see a very fun adventure at sea that parodies the likes of Cousteau.
