Quiet oasis near everything! I would definitely stay here again. Room was very clean and large. Beds were very comfy. I liked that the closets/changing area were separate from bedroom area so not waking anyone up if need to iron and get dressed before anyone else. Bathroom is huge. Double vanity, separate room for toilet, good water pressure in shower. Turn down service at night was a nice extra touch. Definitely recommend paying for the pretty “city view” to get Paris Eiffel Tower view. I liked that the hotel didn’t have a casino because it was a quiet retreat to escape to when done with the hustle and bustle of strip. Great location, CVS right downstairs, short walk to Aria, Park MGM. Service was excellent throughout hotel. The only inconvenience is that they are remodeling the main floor lobby, so right now you need take the elevator to 3rd floor, walk down a hallway and then take another elevator to the current 23rd floor lobby. They said should be done next month, not a deal breaker to me as the positives far outweigh this temporary issue. Highly recommend!

Returning to the Waldorf Astoria this year and was looking forward to the experience. A few days before our reservation, the hotel announced that it was opening and provided clear details about what to expect. This was greatly appreciated! However, when we arrived we began to experience little hiccups that ranged from annoyance to unacceptable.

At check-in we had to wait over an hour, after 4 PM, to get our room. While this was frustrating, the manager and front desk worked to keep all guests happy with champagne and F&B credits.

I was disappointed that the property decided to cut all housekeeping. While I want to keep all members of staff safe, there is little evidence that COVID can be spread in an empty room (even Dr Fauci still has his home cleaned by a cleaner). On top of that, each room needs to be cleaned after a guest vacates it anyway. This all led to some interesting tasks. In order to get new towels, we needed to call down, place our old towels into the valet closet, and then retrieve our new towels from the valet closet. On one occasion, I requested that trash be removed from the room. This was not taken care of and hours later I had to request it again. After the second request, the trash was promptly removed.

Overall, I'm still glad that we stayed here and I believe that the staff was trying their best. COVID has been difficult and I know that there will be hiccups as hotels figure things out. My only problem is that a WA has to be perfect, that's part of what you pay for. If I'm going to stay at a hotel where I don't get housekeeping (or turndown service), or room service, or a fantastic restaurant, or a delicious sit-down breakfast, or a luxurious spa, then why would I pay WA prices? I wouldn't. Somehow the WA needs to figure out, in the age of COVID, what it's brining to the table. If I'm being "welcomed back to luxury" then I need to feel it. I didn't this time.

I had rather low expectations after reading the other recent reviews, especially since hotels are really struggling during the pandemic. Given that, I was surprised to see that valet service was still being offered as every other property I had visited this year had eliminated the service. The parking at the Waldorf is set up such that self parking truly isn't an option. The Aria self park is next door but isn't really a viable option to go between the two properties. During online check in, I was pleasantly surprised to see a high floor corner strip view room appear with my digital key. I noted the room number (thankfully) and arrived at the hotel a few hours later. As I made my way through the group of men standing in the driveway (what is it with the groups of men always standing here??), I double checked my room number. I was suddenly relegated to a 4th floor room close to the elevator. A quick stop at the front desk revealed my lovely upgrade had been downgraded due to a "mechanical issue" in the corner room. I don't play the Diamond card very often but I explained to the front desk clerk that I had been assigned to the corner room earlier in the day and would like a similar location even if it was a few floors lower. She offered to check with her manager but mentioned it could be a 30 minute wait due to staffing. I moved to the side of the desk and a few minutes later, my original room magically became available. As others have mentioned, the furniture in the rooms are in poor shape and the accents are scruffy at best. When I pulled back the duvet to check the sheets, I discovered there was no top sheet. The duvet cover didn't appear to be recently cleaned so I had to request a top sheet from housekeeping. The final disappointment was the lack of dining options. The Skybar was the only restaurant available that evening but could not take my "to go" order due to the number of reservations already on the books. I have stayed at two other Waldorf properties but never dreamed I would have to Doordash my dinner at what is supposed to be a premier Hilton property. I moved the next evening to Aria which was like night and day. Although Aria did not have valet parking available due to the pandemic, all of their restaurants were open, daily housekeeping was available, and a great safety kit was provided including a mask and full bottle of sanitizer. I understand the Waldorf is due for a renovation (it appears to be a seriously overdue renovation) and I would caution against booking this property until that is complete. There are much better options in Las Vegas at this point in time.

The staff as usual is extremely professional, friendly, courteous and accommodating. However, it doesn’t have the “Waldorf Astoria” feeling whatsoever. Arrived on a Friday noon and by Sunday afternoon the room had not been cleaned once! Upon bringing it up to the front desk they claim it due to COVID and room cleaning is only done upon request. I can understand that approach, but what I cannot get is why the guest is not informed of it at check-in. Are we supposed to guess?? Also, the mini bars in the room are locked and inaccessible. They are also blaming it on COVID. According to the staff to minimize contamination. The communication between the front desk and the other departments (pool, bar, cafe) is zero to none. They are not in sync whatsoever. To top it all out, our room key malfunctioned the entire stay, forcing us to go to the lobby a total of 6 times in 3 days to get key replacements which didn’t even solve the issue and eventually security had to go with a master key to open the room. Finally, we reserved a cabana at the pool and during the reservation we asked what was their cancellation policy as the cabana costs $200 per day. The pool manager explained that as long as the reservation was canceled before the set arrival time it would have no charge. Our reservation was for 10am. At 9am I contacted the Front Desk and requested a cancellation. I come to find out they charged me $50 cancellation fee and when I went to the pool and talked to the manager she explained that not only were they never contacted by the front desk to cima el the reservation but they also had not imposed any cancellation fees on my reservation. It was the front desk who took it upon themselves to charge me for it and not even notify the pool manager about the cancellation. Overall not a Waldorf Astoria experience whatsoever.

Even during this time of COVID, the property was well maintained and the service was very good overall. Check-in was very easy, but you will need to inquire about housekeeping services as it was not mentioned to me or the others in my group.

You are able to request housekeeping with literally a push of a button in your room. The room itself was very nice, with a valet closet/drawer area that was in it's own "hallway" upon entry into the room. The bathroom was spacious enough for two, with a large soaking tub, and separate shower (a little on the small side) and toilet, along with double sinks. There were 2 sets of towels, bath salts, shampoo, etc. at my disposal.

Complimentary water bottles were replenished daily, which I appreciated. The drapes and lights work with an electronic wall panel but were a little difficult to work with initially.

We dined at the Zen Cafe for breakfast, and although it was a bit pricey (approximately $50 for breakfast, coffee, and a glass of champagne), everything was delicious.

We spent a day at the pool, renting a Cabana, and enjoying the privacy it provided. The service was lacking in terms of someone checking in on us frequently. Also, a child was in the "adult" pool with an adult who did not monitor the child. He was doing what the signs said not to do (i.e. diving, wearing flippers, etc.). NO employees ever addressed this, which was quite dangerous in my opinion.

We wanted to use the complimentary car service but were always told that we just missed it...so taxis were our mode of transportation and we had better luck securing them at the Aria Resort next door.

I did enjoy the seclusion of the hotel, as it is "on the strip" but cannot be accessed by a lot of foot traffic, so it was very quiet and felt like we were somewhere else.

I had a fabulous time this week at the Waldorf. It was one of the few hotels on the strip that had their pool open and the weather was amiable for a dip. I was told that one pool was heated but they both felt warm. Currently, many of the amenities are only open on the weekends, that includes the spa. Even the tram between the Aria and Bellagio wasn't running. We dined mainly at Aria which is a five minute walk away. Even the Starbucks downstairs was shuttered so that I needed to go Aria for a fix. There is takeaway available on the third floor but there is no Keurig or coffee pot or fridge for that matter in the room. The hotel maintains the theme of its predecessor although an update might be in order it still cuts mustard. There was a hallway immediately to the left of the room entrance that contained the wardrobe. A stroll past that was a magnificent bathroom. I appreciated the door to the toilet and ample counter space. The bathtub was roomy and the glass panel allowed for views of the strip during a nice evening soak. The bath products were Salvatore Ferragamo, a masculine scent but pleasant. You may wish to pack your own for a more feminine scent. The bed was very comfortable and there is some agreeable mood lighting in the headboard if you play around with it. Overall, it was quiet and peaceful. My interactions with staff were few. I received several text messages from the front desk regarding my stay. My companion requested water and ice at the front desk and those were placed in our valet closet within 30 minutes. Be careful with rideshare, we found that some drivers were not familiar with hotel and couldn't find the entrance. We often walked to Aria for rideshare.

I had read some reviews that made me a little nervous but we loved it. The location is perfect as you are right on the strip from a walking perspective but very quiet without a casino. The room was very nice although as other reviews have said some of the furniture is a little dated and the lack of modern plugs by the bed. However the bathroom was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the perk of $$ per day for being diamond members and used it for breakfast each day at Zen(which was very good).

I recently stayed for 4 nights while on a business trip and this was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. The service was excellent and the rooms were super clean and the bathroom was amazing. There were items missing in the room due to COVID but the hotel concierge was great at getting you any items you needed all you had to do was text. They were super quick to respond and literally brought anything you needed. I had asked about a fridge since the one in my room was a minibar that was locked, and they ended up bringing me a huge mini fridge to use during my stay. The pool was very nice and the spa was incredible! There were some restrictions on restaurant hours during the week due to COVID but room service was very good and made up for it. The hotel does not have a casino which I actually enjoyed because it was nice and quiet, which was perfect since I was working. However the hotel is in a great location so you can walk to multiple casinos within 5 minutes of walking. The next time I’m in Vegas I definitely plan to stay here again.

I had horrible experience during checking in the hotel.

I booked my room by calling the Hilton agent and requested a double beds but she said only king bed was available so I booked it. During the morning of arriving, the Hilton web showed my reservation became double beds.

When I arrived to the hotel at noon, the front desk person told me they upgraded my room to double beds but the room will not be ready until almost 4pm. That was ok, we left the luggage at the hotel and went out to have lunch and walked around. When we came back at 3:30pm, the other rep told me the room will be available during the evening. During the evening??? I asked what exactly during the evening mean, like after 6pm? Then he said more likely 5pm. He said it was because I changed the request in the last minute from King to double beds, the house keeper didn't plan to clean the room until later.

I am a diamond member, I checked in at noon, then 3-4 hours later, the house keepers still didn't have time to clean a room for us? I asked the front desk person, he said the house keeper will not change their schedule just for me.

To be honest, I was a bit mad at the time, and I insisted to have the room by 4pm. The guy did call someone on the phone and managed to have the room ready by 4pm.

The rest of the stay was ok. There is no member lounge in the hotel. The diamond member get daily $50 per day for breakfast. If you do eat in the Zen restaurant for breakfast, the daily food credit is most likely not enough.

This was my first experience at a Waldorf-Astoria and I expected more. I've stayed many times in Vegas and several other hotels have better rooms in the same price range.
The front desk is very nice, they recognized me by my name throughout the stay; they provide bottle of waters at no cost. I called them at 7:30 with a request and told me housekeeping is not available until 8, maybe is because of the pandemic.
The hotel and the room were extremely clean with hand sanitizer every where.
Valet parking was also very efficient.
