Students & Parents

Groton Public Schools is committed to family engagement and ensures it in all schools with parent, guardian and family activities that promote community and learning. Grant and district funds are used to support a variety of parent training and educational sessions for parents, including parent literacy training for supporting literacy development at home and over the summer, special sessions on supporting students’ scientific and mathematical development, and educational forums that address education, health and safety. With the support of our school-based Community Coordinators and district-based Communications Coordinator, concerted efforts are made to outreach to our entire community, by communicating with students and families in a personalized manner.
